Curious about H&V Dinner?

How does food at H&V dinner compare to say CP or CM's ?

H & V is one of only 2 restaurants in all of WDW that I will not return to.
Hot food was not hot, cold food was not cold. The food did not taste good. The best thing of the meal was the deserts. We were surrounded by dirty, unbused tables. Our waitress was RUDE.
The Ladies Room was fiflthy.
We will not return

I had to chuckle when you mentioned it specifically because I always judge a place based on the cleanliness of its restrooms

I have to say it's one of the only places we've never been to (and we do 3-4 trips per year), kids have overgrown charcter meals but are still good sports at CP & CM (teenage boys appreciate unlimited quantities of food) so I started thinking about H&V.... but now maybe not so much

Hollywood & Vine, along with WCC, are two Disney restaurants you could NOT pay us to go back to. Bad food, bad service, filthy conditions. We don't particularly care for Chef Mickey's for dinner either, but we would eat there any day over the H&V.

Our last breakfast at CM was not good either. Tried WCC for the first time in January & while it wasn't terrible, I can get way better BBQ here at home for less $$$. I will say we had good service at WCC.

Living with 3 men, they are always asking about other buffets (although they wouldn't go anywhere near one anyplace other than WDW). Guess there's good reason why we haven't tried H&V
