I cannot find any of those disposable sippy cups and don't want to "wash dishes" every night!

So I ask:
What kind of cups do children get in the parks and in the sit down resort restaurants? paper/plastic, lids/straws, etc???

Thanks!!!!!! (7 days to go :wizard:)

Paper with lids and straws.

Did you try Walmart or Target or Toys R Us for the disposable ones?

I buy plastic Disney themed cups at Party City and stick my daughter's juice box in them so that she doesn't squirt it all over the place. We can reuse them and they fit in her cup holder on her carseat. I hope this helps...

I found the disposable sippy cups at Toys R Us yesterday. I got a bunch for our upcoming trip as well as a bunch of the disposable spoons & disposable table toppers & disposable bibs LOL!! I am all set :cool1:

One thing to note is that they do not have straws at AK (something about them being dangerous for the animals). If you've got a little one who can't drink from a regular cup very well, its really tough without a straw if you don't bring a some type of "kiddie cup." So, even if you have to bring one that needs to be washed, be sure to take something with you to AK.

Enjoy your trip!

They also have those disposible dish cloths now that have the soap built in. None of the other choices are as spill proof as a regular non spill sippy cup and washing them out with one of these cloth might be worth it if you have a little one that tends to spill.

Thanks for your replies. My kids are okay seated at a table, but drinking and walking . . . what a mess.

I tend to pack breakfast to eat on the ride over to the parks. I'd prefer to dispose of those milk cups ASAP!

My hubby will check at Toys R Us on his way home from work this week.

I would not mind at all to pick some up at my local Wal-Mart and send them to you. I know what it's like. I have two kids! If you're interested, PM me. Good luck! :D

Just fyi Parmalat makes milk in "boxes" just like juice boxes. My kids love them, they come in whole, 2% and skim as well as chocolate. They don't have to be kept in the fridge, making them ideal for vacations. I chill them the night before and they are great for breakfast. My girls love both the traditional and parlalat milk and switch back & forth fine. FWIW my 8yo LOVES her milk.

We use juice boxes and bags as well as the parmelat boxes on vacation for ease and convenience.
