Cupcakes

At AK the Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery in front of Tusker house. The cupcakes are very pretty to look at, I thought they were too pretty to eat. I am not a cake person so I can't say they were the best, but they are worth checking out.

Is that elephant edible? What's it made of?

A few weeks ago, DH and I just tried the butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls at DHS....

O.M.G.

We have actually declared it (on our 4th trip together) the BEST dessert in WDW, and

the best cupcake we've ever eaten. It will redefine your definition of "cupcake."

Advice: if it is hot and crowded at DHS, get it to go and wait til you're back at your hotel, because this must be savored.

Red Velvet Cupcake from Main Street Confectionery

This was just delicious :cloud9: the frosting was cream cheese and the cake was soooo light and moist

Giving this a little bump for the week-end cupcake-lovers! I'm still in awe of the white chocolate elephant! :cloud9:

I went to DHS last year and was on the fence about going again this year but now will go again this year just so i can try one of those butterfinger cupcakes (i will take it back to resort though for later). Now i better not get caught up in other things that i forget to buy one before i leave the park.

I hear so much about the Butterfinger one but I don't hear about the White Elephant coconut one. It looks so good to me in the photos. Anyone like that one? (Not the elephant itself, but the cupcakes.)

I love cupcakes. I think they are my favorite dessert, along with cheesecake. I do not like the frosting on some of the cupcakes at Disney. They are not buttercream. I used to get one at Goofy's candy kitchen that had great frosting and a pretty good cake, but they changed the frosting. Last trip we stayed at CB and I had the most moist chocalate cupcake with great frosting. I also had a good one from Main Street Bakery in Oct. It was decorated like a ghost for Halloween. I have to try the one from AK near Tusker House, that looks great. The boardwalk bakery also has good one. I will be having some in only 20 days.

Ok, so I wish I had a cupcake now!!! Really think I'm going to have to try the butterfinger cupcake since everyone keeps saying how good it is.
