Cupcakes I tried and loved...

I am a dessert connoisseur and bake all the time. The Butterfinger Cupcake at Starring Rolls was the BEST CUPCAKE I HAVE EVER EATEN. Hands down. ::yes::

Yesterday we went to Roaring Fork for lunch. I decided on the strawberry cupcake. Icing was yummy. It tasted like strawberry ice cream. The cake was moist. And THEN.....I got to the middle of the cake. Oh my goodness. It had a lemon curd filling. It was sooooooo good. Very lemony and tart combined with the strawberry icing. Loved it. Might have to get another one to take home.

Strawberry cream cheese cupcake at BOG lunch.

I can still taste them both!

-The Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake at BOG lunch...It was soo yummy!!

-The Cappuccino Cupcake from Pizza Planet...I'm drooling just thinking of it!!

Cappuccino Cupcake from Pizza Planet is the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this thread. I think it's my favorite I've ever had at Disney!

I placed my order for BOG lunch for a couple weeks and I put in for the Strawberry Cream Cheese one. Excited to try it, since we apparently have similar cupcake tastes! ;)

Yes...it's so good!!! Let me know what you think! :)

The butterfinger cupcake is DH's favorite by far. Worked to recreate at home on his 40th and I did okay. Have the strawberry BOG one in my order for two weeks from today!!! Adding cappuccino one at Pizza Planet and apparently any cupcake from Contempo Cafe to my list.

These two both sound delicious. :cloud9:

I enjoyed the Darth Vader cupcake at HS during SWW this year.

I'm also a fan of the cake cups from Cheshire Cafe in MK. Shared the Queen of Hearts strawberry shortcake on my last trip and it was pretty great. On the trip before that, I attempted the Cheshire Cupcake cup on my own and couldn't finish it.

I really enjoy the strawberry cupcake at BOG. My DD LOVED the red velvet cheesecake cupcake from Starring Rolls. I am really wanting to try the Cake Cups from Cheshire Cafe next trip.

It is SO GOOD. I tried to get the cake cup last trip, but they were all out! Next time, for sure!

At least one other person has already mentioned it, but my hands-down favorite is the Peanut Butter Chocolate cupcake from the Contempo Cafe. YUM!

I never should have opened this thread!!!!

I'm a cupcake freak and now see myself eating quite a few in January!!!

1. Starring Rolls - red velvet cupcake, always moist and fresh.
2. Zebra orange marmalade cupcake, tart and tangy, so good.

Honorable mention: not a cupcake but the brownie paw at Kusafiri Bakery in AK. Yes, it's a brownie, but smothered in chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream, then covered with some chocolate pieces for the "paw". It is phenomenal.

Smores cupcake at Roaring Forks in the Wilderness Lodge. Awesome!

I can't wait to try all these yummy cupcakes. I have a list going, good thing I have a 16 day trip to fit them all in. 20 days left until I'm there!

Loved the red velvet one at the old Main Street Bakery...ok it was the cream cheese icing I loved. And the strawberry one at BOG. CM told me it was Belle's fave.

Was not wowed by Starring Rolls PB and choco cupcake. First it was cold. Hate cold cake. Had little pb taste, little internal filling and was dense as a muffin.
