You'll have to let Dizzy try one too then. He has a very refined pallette where cupcakes are concerned so I am sure he will be able to give an opinion :goodvibes

Me and dizzy will get on just fine then! I toolove my cupcakes, see his posts on facebook and the cakes look fantastic

I've heard that Babycakes (the DTD one) is a Gluten Free bakery, so they will taste different from 'normal' cupcakes. I've heard a few people complain they don't taste so good because it wasn't the taste they were expecting.

Not tried them myself, it's just some info I picked up from the Restaurant forum so might want to double check that.

I thought that Babycakes was just a small section in the back of the bakery, and that they also sell regular cakes :confused3
I have never been so could be totally wrong but I am sure that someone who has been in will be able to advise

Boardwalk bakery and starring rolls at HS have an excellent selection.

Also contempo cafe at contemporary resort and roaring forks at wilderness lodge have some lovely looking ones.

On the main restaurant board on here there is a thread just dedicated to pics of cupcakes - well worth a peruse :) - hope someone who know how to can do a link.

what does HS stand for?

and thanks. that was way more than i was expecting. i guess cupcakes are more popular than i though :)

Definitely have a look on the Restaurant board. The cupcake thread makes me so hungry!

Starring rolls cupcakes are huge!
Karamel Kuche in Germany in Epcot has cupcakes too (I preferred the chocolate/caramel crispy squares)

:goodvibes

I couldnt find the cupcake thread just the normal cake one

omg thank you guys

theres a whole world of cupcakes over there. i think i might have to have one a day. just to test them obviously :)

ive changed the title of my countdown from holiday countdown to cupcake countdown. 10 days till a cupcake frenzy. sadly DH hasnt got a sweet tooth so i think im going to be driving him nuts!

It's all the more for you though!!

I have a DFi who has the biggest sweet tooth ever! I'd be lucky to get a bite haha :goodvibes

weve never been on that dining plan. i dont know much about it. could someone tell me about it please? do you have to book during a certain time?

i bought a cupcake from Babycakes this Easter ... it's in the new(ish) building at DTD with Pollo Campano (spelling from memory) in it ... cake was nice, but didn't wow ... but I had no idea at the time everything they sell is gluten free and vegan/kosher/egg free/soy free etc

If you look at their website you get an idea http://babycakesnyc.com/ if you have an allergy/intolerance/dietary restriction I can imagine they'd be heaven

If you book to stay at a disney resort plus tickets (what they call a package) - you are eligible to add a dining plan.

There are different plans - ddp is the most popular on here you get 1 sit down meal (inc character meals), 1 quick service meal and 1 snack per person each night of your stay.

At certain times of the year disney offer free dining.

If you book with disney uk (or a uk travel agent) you can get free ddp at a deluxe resort for most dates in 2012 or free QSDP at a moderate resort.

If you book with US disney they usually do free QSDP at a value resort and free ddp at a moderate/deluxe each September. The offer is usually released about April the same year. Occasionally other dates aswell.

We've done free ddp twice and are booked again for October 2012 at old key west.
