Cunningham Falls-Catoctin, MD

Any DISers in the MD area? Has anyone been to Cunningham Falls recently? We used to go all the time when we were kids and hike up to the falls. I was wondering if you can still do that.

I bet that the water level is very high right now. When are you planning on going? Where do you live in WV? We'll be in Morgantown next month at a baseball tournament.

I live about 20 min away and yep, you can still go and hike up. My ex and I did it about a year and a half ago. But keep in mind, like T&B said, with all the rain we've been having, water levels are probably very high. I would give them a call and see if there are any warnings right now.

They just had the birth of three baby White Tiger kittens! They are adorable!!!

I didn't know they had a zoo. We're not planning on going in the near future, but I wanted to bring up the idea to DH for day trips. We're trying to find place nearby to go. We live in Charles Town, WV. It's about 3 hours from Morgantown. I've never been there but my BIL's family is from there.

Also keep in mind that in Maryland state parks you can't bring dogs. Don't know that you have a dog, but wanted to mention it just in case.
