cuisinart ice cream maker

Does anyone own the cuisinart ice cream maker? If so please tell me how you like it and what you don't like about it.

Have you ever watched "Take Home Chef?" I don't actually own one, but he's used one several times on the show and it looks great. But they always laugh at how noisy it is grinding away in the background, it's a monster of a machine. Let us know how you like it if you get one!

Do you mean the one that has the "frozen" thermal ice cream bowl that you freeze for 24 hours and then the ice cream gets made in that as it spins? If so, I have one and it works great! Just made white chocolate ice cream in it the other day

I just got mine and love it. I didn't think it was too loud at all, I expected worse.

So far I have only used the recipes that came with it. I'm kind of afraid of the recipes with raw eggs though.
