Has anyone used this facility for child care? I am thinking of staying at the WL instead of the Poly and my 2 VERY busy children will be with us. The kids are 5 and 6 and have always done well at the Neverland Club. I'm concerned about the size of the club and the activities to keep 2 (did I say VERY) busy children occupied. Thanks so much. Susan

Anyone? OR- How about this? If you feel that you cannot respond to my question but have a love of small animals, perhaps you would like the opportunity to spend some time with...(LOL). Susan

I too would love to know how the WL kids club is. We are going in September with 4 1/2 yr old dd. I was worried because she is young and doesnt have a sibling to be with while she is there. Any info would be greatly appreciated!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I recall seeing some positive posts about the Cub's Den in the past. I had also asked about it. You might want to check WL's FAQ thread. I plan to go to WDW on Sunday and have my 4 yr old dd stay a few hours at the Cub's Den on Monday night. We'll be staying at WL. I'll be glad to report about it when I return.

Ok I found this just a few threads down on this board:

We stayed at WL this past June and the kids (5 and 7) went to Cubs' Den. They really enjoyed themselves, in fact, they asked to go back every night after that. I'm not sure if all the clubs do this but at WL they had an open house every afternoon from 2:30 to 4:00. The kids could go in, check out the place

I guess we'll have to go in & check out the place on Sunday during the open house time:)

We stayed at WL in Jan 2001. We didn't have a need for our then 5yo to use Cubs Den but we did stop in just to check it out. It seemed like the kids there were having a good time. If I remember correctly, the older ones were playing video games and the younger ones were doing some sort of craft activity. There were just a handful of kids there at the time.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It's so hard to do a search now because the function is so often down. Sorry to have repeated an oft asked question but it really mattered for us when choosing a resort. Susan

Replying late, but may be of help...

We used WL Cub's Den for a 9 yo. We were also apprehensive as the place looked small - what would there be for an active 9 yo boy to do? He had a great time and wanted to go back. The staff was very nice...they had some activities that everyone participated in, but they also had free video games - and of course, that kept a 9 yo boy happy all evening.

I think between keeping them to somewhat of a schedule with crafts, dinner, etc., - plus giving them free time to play - even the active ones don't get bored! They ask you where you will be if there's a problem - or if you are going to be out and about various places - they will give you a beeper.

We loved the WL - intended to go back this year, but ended up at AKL instead!

My son stayed at the Cub's Den in July. He absolutely loved it. He has stayed also at the Sandcastle Club, and the Neverland Club. When I ask him which is his favorite, he says he likes them all the same. There were plenty of activities to keep him occupied.
