CT Disney Outlet store!!

There is a new Disney Outlet Store right here in CT!!!!

and they have adult clothing!!!

I went to visit the Clinton Crossings outlet stores to check out a new Disney character outlet store a friend had told me about and was pleasantly surprised to see a former CM friend of mine working there! They have mostly stuff from the parks at GREAT prices. I spent $27 and got 2 pins, an AK vest, a pair of boxers and an x-mas ornament!! Clinton Crossings is at exit 63 off I-95 in Clinton, CT. The end of the week is the best time as they get their shipments late on Wed.

My friend said this is one of 8 stores in the chain Character Counts (I think). The store is still being decorated and is rather plain looking right now but from what she said they moved in rather quickly. Check it out if you have the chance.

That is great news, they stock the shelves on Wednesday and Thursday is my day off. It couldn't get any better. Well yes it could but only if I was at the Belz outlet, because that would mean a few days at the parks too.

Lynnie, any time you can make it let us know, but not on a weekend until after the cruise, I have to work.

May 4th would work for us (May 5th is Rachel's birthday party) and I do have a special request if it's possible....

Rachel's IV medicine will be going in at around 7 am and then again at 3 pm (and again at 11 pm), so if there's any way you could schedule this for more of a lunch hour (like 11 a.m.?) we would love to join you. If not, I totally understand!! I'm thinking Clinton is about an hour from me, right Peggie?

It looks like we might not be able to do the other pin meet on the second Saturday of next month because David has an audition that day for his summer play. So, this would be a nice alternative!

I have to work on Saturday mornings until 11:15. I could be there by 12:15. Probably even earlier with some advance notice. Have to see if any MA or RI traders want to join us.

Well, it's a darn good thing I made my way back to Page 2. This is great news! I think I'll try to fit in a visit this weekend AND May 4th.

I went to the outlet on Thursday with Leslie.
She walked out with only a few things. I found a Christmas cookie press with Mickey, some Christmas garland with Mickey, and a huge towel with...........Mickey of course.
I also bought two plastic keyrings to hang in my car. I am not as talented as Jeff so I can't do the stained glass, but they were with Mickey.
I am sure that store will be a monthly thing, I spent less than $30 and have some great stuff.
I am almost finished with work for the school year. I will be done with the weekends for the summer after May 11th. So if you want to plan a meet there I can make it, except of course when we are on the cruise.
Leslie and I found the perfect spot for a meet. They have a cute little covered bridge dividing the two "malls" with some big benches. No tables, but it would be fun to meet there.

Hey Peggie,

I went on Saturday and picked up some mickey things too. The CM said that the store would be expanding what they had to sell, plu add CD's too. They are supposed to get new stuff every other Wednesday but the truck was delayed last week so they will be getting more this Wednesday. She didn't know since they missed last week's truck whether they would start every other from this Wed or stay on the original schedule making a shipment due the next 2 Wednesday's. She recommended to call first. It definitely was good for me because everything was either small or XL and above.

The Oulet Store is NOT a Disney Store and will not have Tuesday night trading. I believe the store is Character Corner or Character Counts or something like that. As I understand it they are an outlet chain for WDW merchandise. I'll have to ask my CM friend for more details. I do know they pay better than Disney does.

Hi Dom, I met you at the NYC Pin Event a few weeks ago. That's great news about the CT outlet! The only thing better than a DS is a discount DS (or Character Corner, or whatever). It's a bit of a trip from Westchester County (we're on I95 4 exits south of exit 1 in CT), but definitely a worthwhile destination.
