CSR Waterslide

I have read the waterslide at the CSR is 123 feet long. My question is how big is the drop. ? Is it more like some of the slides at Blizzard beach, where you start out high, and REALLY fly, or is it geared to younger children and is lower and a little slower?
We are just concerened that our 8 year old ( who can be a little timid) may find this slide overwhelming.

Any photos would be nice!

Definately NOT a steep drop,it's long & curvy. I wouldn't think it would be at all overwhelming to an 8 year old, even a timid one.

If you lay down completely, you can get moving pretty quick. If you stay sitting, it slows you down. Its a good slide. Pics on my CSR website below.

CSR is the favorite resort of my DS11 because of the slide and pool. It gives you a good ride down, but you don't go real fast unless you really try. Toward the end is a jaguar spitting water at you. Lots of fun for Mom and Dad, too!!! And it's a great resort....

There is no drop - you just kind of snake around and down it. It is longer than the slide at CBR and POFQ.

DD7 loved the waterslide on our Dec./Jan visit. Not too scary--just fun!

My 5 Y.O. and 2 Y.O loved the slide. Definately not scary, just fun. And so much longer, than the other resorts.

We enjoyed the pool area much better at CSR, simply because you can see the kids, from one spot. The pool isn't broken up.

CSR also has the largest hot tub. Nice not to be shoulder to shoulder with people you don't know.
