CSR room request ???

We will be staying at the Coranado at the end of this month for my birthday!! Yeah!!! Got a great rate
Can anyone recommend any special room requests? It will be myself and DD 14.

It really depends on what you want to be closer to.

We were in Casitas 2 and we loved it!!! We had a standard view room, and it looked out over a beautiful courtyard. It was a short walk to El Centro, the bus stop, the laundry room and the exercise room, but quite a hike to the Dig Site. There was a quiet pool next to our building, but my kids and quiet don't go together at all!!

I think that the Cabanas are closer to the Dig Site pool, but further from El Centro.

Another vote for Casitas 2! I loved that location for everything that airforcerocks just said about it--very convenient location. We could also see the high fireworks of Illuminations from the Casitas quiet pool, which was right by our room! You will love CSR. If you have time, please check out my review on it! It will give you more info on our room location (we also stayed in the Ranchos that trip, so you'll see a comparison with the Casitas) plus everything else!

Casita 1 is nice for proximity to El Centro. It is only a 5-6 minute walk to the Dig Site from there.

What buildings are the ones that have the hammocks out by the lake?

mulgar - From Epcotfan's website I would say the Cabanas - this is what I requested for when we go!

Each section has their own attributes. The Casitas are more formal with beautiful courtyards, fountains and flowers. The Cabanas are casual with a white sandy beach and hammocks. The Ranchos are more secluded with bubbling springs and cactus. We stayed in the Ranchos and really liked it. It felt like we were in the Old West.
