CSR room request location help

We are staying at CSR for two nights of our 5 night trip at the end of May. I will be travelling with my DS9 and DD6. we would like to be near the main pool and a bus stop. I like the look of the ranchos from pictures but I read that the tile roofs are being replaced and don't want loud construction noises. Anyone been there lately and can comment on this? I also would consider the cabanas. Any good building suggestions? Thanks in advance! THE diS ROCKS!

We were right near the main pool and it was a short walk to the bus. I think it was 8B? Maybe 8A? It's been a while.

We stayed in Cabanas 8A which was right by the main pool and a bus stop. It was perfect.

The cabanas are most popular with families - we prefer cabana 8A, but they are all close to the main pool and a bus stop. Ranchos 7B is another good choice - besides being close to the main pool, it also has a quiet pool and laundry.

I haven't heard any reports of anyone being bothered by the tile replacement, and the CSR FAQ thread has several reviews from recent guests.

I greatly enjoyed Cabana's during my stay.. Plenty close enough to the pool.. not that far of a hike from the main building etc.

We stayed in Cabanas 8A it was real close to the pool

We were in Cabanas 8B and thought the location was fantastic! We were steps away from the Cabanas' quiet pool, a minute or two from the bus stop, 4 minutes from the main pool and maybe 5-6 minutes from El Centro.

That said, if we stay at CSR again, we would request Casitas 4 or 5. It's about as centrally located as 8B, but on the opposite side of the lake, and we preferred the look of Casitas over Cabanas. That is really a personal preference and not very important.

We were pleasantly surprised at how easy and quick it was to get around the place in general. From all we had read about the vastness of the resort, we expected to have to do way more walking than we did.

I put some spaces inbetween in case it showed up as stars again, so just type that in without spaces.
