CSR, Pop or offsite?

For our January trip I had it narrowed down to either CSR or Pop. But now, I am really wondering if we should stay off site. It would be a FIRST. We will have our car with us, but I am not sure. Any good reason now to stay onsite? Where would you stay offsite if you were to ditch the mouse?

For onsite I’d stay at CSR or another moderate. Not a fan of Pop, overpriced for what you get.
If I were to stay offsite, I’d be looking at Swan/Dolphin or one of the Disney Springs Hotel area places. They are technically on WDW property, walking distance to Disney Springs, and have continuous shuttles every 30 min.
