Okay probably a silly question but through various discounts we can stay at the WL for just $200 more that CSR in January. Is it worth the money? We have 2 young daughters (2, 4) and it is their first time to Disney. Would it be worth it to stay at the WL? Why or why not? If so, any particular room requests? Thanks.

Definately worth it to stay at the WL. We just returned from there and we have 2 little ones who loved it (3 and 6)

It's a benefit to be so close to MK with children. It never took us more than 10 minutes by boat to get to MK. We also took the boat back to WL in the afternoon if the kids wanted to nap.

The bus rides were kind of long for us when we went over to the BW and Downtown Disney and sometimes our 3 yr old fell asleep on the bus. You may find the bus rides to be a pain if you intend on spending most of your time at MK.

The WL is an awesome place for kids. Great pool, great snack bar, arcade, etc. Also, you are pretty close to Fort Wilderness and they can have a campfire with Chip and Dale and make s'mores. Again, it was only a quick boat ride over to FW.

Hope this helps:)

As far as room requests, we had a courtyard view and it's great for kids because they can see the boat parade at night on the lake and they can see the gyser erupt every hour. Our kids couldn't wait to see the parade every night-

FYI-we stayed in #2151

Hope this helps:)

Since you have two small children and are probaly going to be spending most of your park time at the MK I would go with the WL as long as that extra $200 is not going to stress your vacation budget. The WL is much more convienet to the MK then CSR.

WL is fabulous!

The whole feel of the resort is so relaxing!

Your just a boat ride away from MK!

We were at WL last month....and hands down I would spend the extra $! This resort is breathtaking and I think it is very "kid friendly"(IMO). We had our DS <6> & DD<10mos> and they loved the boat rides to MK. The pool was great!! I can't compare CSR because we have never stayed there but I have read a few posts complain that CSR is very wide spread. I didn't think there were many (if any) long distances at WL.

Hope this helps!! :smooth:

Check out my website for info on CSR.

Reasons we like CSR. CSR doesn't share transportation like WL does with FW. CSR has a great pool area. CSR has a great food corut with many choices.
