Hello!
I am trying to decide between AKL and CSR. We have stayed at AKL, and have planned on going back in October. I keep reading great things about CSR, and we are considering it. This is one of the three hotels at Disney that we have not tried yet, so we are just trying to make up our minds!!!
We have three children (one is a baby). We do not mind walking, we are exercisers...so, we are fine with any walking. If we did go with CSR, would the Cabanas be the best bet as far as being close to the pool area, and not too far from the restaraunts?? Any info would be SO helpful!!!
Thank you!

Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

Here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.

We've stayed at both and loved it!!CSR was great, the rooms were very clean, the food was good at the Peppermarket but a little pricey if you're not on the dining plan. The walk was great if you like a little exercise, we did not mind at all, except when our eggs got cold on the way back to the room.
AKL was great!!We booked a standard room and paid for an upgrade to Savannah view, it was fabulous. The animals were out all the time, it was facinating to see how close they were to our balcony. Boma dinner was yummy and Mara was very convenient for breakfast and snacks. Will be trying out CR this summer for free dining. Hope we like it there!!!:goodvibes :cool1:
