CSR Convention Crowds

Just request more. There’s no limit on how many you can get from housekeeping
I agree with this post as well. During our trip, there were a total of six K-Cups (3 regular, 1 decaf, 2 Twinings English breakfast tea) and we simply asked for more each day and the housekeeping staff certainly accommodated.

And 3 Bridges is busy because the food is good! Plus the ambiance. We ate at all the on property restaurants and lounges, but 3 Bridges is the only one we went back to several times.
I agree, my wife and I really like 3 Bridges as well.

Since it is a Disney Data and Analytics u should ask what the heck is going on with all the well known disney IT problems.🙄 Just sayin......

And while I'm sure many will disagree with me due to the location, accessiblity and sprawl of the resort, CSR is my favorite moderate resort because it has enough Disney for those who want that, but also feels a bit apart from Disney for those like me who really enjoy the relaxation of a beautiful resort without the hustle and bustle of putting the parks first.

I agree with it being the best of the mods, but CSR is actually fairly centrally located as resorts go. I think the "Animal Kingdom Resort Area" designation leads to a lot of misconceptions about it being super far from everything.

I'm a bit late the the party, but we are staying at CSR 13th-23rd August, so I was interested in the conventions and effects on our trip, e.g. the whole convention checking in at the same date/time as us. As I am travelling with a 14 year old, I don't think it'll affect us too much thankfully. I will make sure we request a quiet room away from the buzz of the centre and bars/restaurants as it's early to bed, early to rise for us in Disney!

I went through notes I had from when we were shopping for convention space back in 2014/2015. We were there in March, June, August, and December. One thing we noticed was the lack of any conventions at CSR when we visited. They were just starting a load in for one, but that was it.

As for "noise" from the convention, well, the only rooms near it are Casitas and even then those rooms have the Back of House spaces for the lobby between the lobby areas and the guest rooms. It's an odd layout too for their convention space, very long and narrow rather than more square so it extends very far south from the lobby. You should be fine if there's a convention there when you are.

Sorry I meant from the people attending the convention making noise in the evenings, from being at the bars/restaurants etc. We are in a standard room so like to be put far away from the hustle and bustle anyway.

Any type of convention will depend -- Most conventions will be held during the morning and afternoon and will usually offer after X park tickets at your expense. Because a convention is at a resort that does not mean people will stay at that resort. Last one my wife went was held at CR and we have a choice of CR. Poly or GF company paid. The food will in general be at the convention but there are Dinner nights where it is usually held at a DS restaurant. That does not mean everyone is invited. At any given time there are conventions but most people will just never notice. As far as noise or bars or ???? easily on of the hundreds of Disney family reunion trips always would replace any lack of convention people at any resort.
