CSR completely full Aug 25-26?

We were planning on a week at CSR from Aug 25-Sept 1. Couldn't get the resort to come up on the web site, so I called CRO. They are saying the entire resort is booked. Can that really be possible? Do you think rooms will open up as we get a little closer? We've really want to try CSR, but have done the resort split before and don't really want to do that on this trip. CM said Aug 27 was earliest available date.

Very possible they may have a few conventions going on at that time and that's why there's no rooms available.

Hi there,

I had been trying to make reservations at CSR for a couple of months now for August 21st - 29th, but with no success. The way I understand it is that they have big conventions coming in during those times and they block off a chunk of rooms for those conventions. It might be that closer to the time of the convention they will have a more acurate count of rooms needed and more rooms will be available to the general public, but I can't take that chance of waiting. So, I booked elsewhere. I am a tad disappointed.
