So we have CSR free dining booked for November 28 thru Dec 8. We are booked in business class standard. The upgrade from water view was 300 dollars. Do you guys think it's worth it. Are the rooms better kept then standard? I had heard the resort rooms are dated and getting ready to be refurbed. We have my wife and I and 3 and 6 year old girls. Any recent reviews of BC would be appreciated or room request suggestions. This resort was low on our list but free dining saves us a ton of money with where we eat.

Thanks

Business Class is awesome. It is worth it. For 10 days, you're looking at $30/night.

Do you and your wife enjoy beer? Sangria? It's served from 5-10PM each night in the lounge. 1 per night per adult and you've already come close to "paying off" the price difference.

You also get breakfast in the lounge each morning, which stretches your dining credits.

All Business Class rooms are in building 9B. There's really no requesting needed save if you want a low or high floor. It's the best guaranteed location at Coronado.

I just returned from Labor Day weekend at CSR Business Class. I think that you will be pleasantly surprised with the resort. The Pepper Market is a great place for spending your CS credits. We ate there twice. The lounge opens at 7 AM and stays open until 10 AM. Breakfast items included cold cereal, muffins, Danish, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, orange and apple juices, coffee, tea, Nespresso and milk. Chocolate milk was available on request. We only stopped in the lounge once during the evening. Snacks were pretty light (Goldfish crackers, some taco chips, etc.), nothing hot. Beer and sangria were available on request. Ice water was dispensed from large containers with citrus fruit slices floating in it. Cans of soda were also there for the taking.

Our room was clean and did not feel worn. I don't know if it is because these rooms are marketed more toward business travelers who are there for meetings but I did not notice any of the usual wear and tear such as nicks, stains or broken fixtures. We were 4 adults sharing the space and did not feel crowded. The beds were comfortable but we all felt that the lighting was rather dim. There is no table. There is a desk instead. There were two chairs - one regular chair and one desk chair. The lack of a "real" table and chairs could be an issue if you like to eat in your room, especially with young children.

I would think for the adults to have a couple of beers in the evening, plus a few little snacks for the kids plus milk, soft drinks, juice (?) it would be nice and totally worth it!

Personally, I would just stay in the regular rooms if you have free dining. Perhaps a preferred room for the location, if you want. Cabanas 8A or B as well as Cabanas 9A are also good locations and less pricey. Casitas 4 is actually my favourite standard building location. Near everything as well as the first pick up and drop off bus stop.
With free dining, will you also use the included continental breakfast and snacks? Except for beverages that are included for limited hours during the evening, I don't see a lot of benefit for you. The rooms themselves are identical to all the other rooms at the resort. BC gives you the Cabanas 9B location and access to the BC lounge. That is all. It is up to you if the additional cost is worth it.

With Free dining, BC seems like overkill on food to me. But then we find the food plan has too much food for us anyway. JMHO, FWIW.

Keep thoughts coming guys!! Babsy we eat dinner at a character meal everyday so dining plan works for us. But to maximize dollar value we do dinner. So the continental breakfast could get some use. Wonder if the juices are bottles?

Pitchers of juice. Not bottles. You can ask for a 'to go' cup with a lid instead of the glassware that is placed out for use.

Wonder if they have miller light beer? Wife does not drink at all I will drink 1 or 2 beers a night on vacation.

Beer choice is whatever is left over from the last convention and can vary.

You only eat twice a day? ;)

Lol. Truthfully for us we typically do only eat twice a day. Light breakfast yogurt and muffins for kids. My wife and I don't eat lunch kids ear fruits and peanut butter. They we eat dinner. But i still think it could be worth it. We may have some quick service meals at the end of week left over. I just offer to buy someone's meal near me before we leave.

Actually, many days at WDW, yes. Sometimes we might have a muffin or piece of fruit in the room with a coffee for breakfast (which can be from a 'snack credit', I understand) then a QS for either lunch or dinner with the other meal a sit down. Then we are eating three times. But, more often, a large 'Brunch' as a character lunch (early) or breakfast (late morning) will do until a light dinner in the evening. If we have a character meal in a day, or even one large meal, we often just have one other very light meal. We aren't big eaters, I guess.

We also, don't drink alcoholic beverages or soda. pretty much coffee/tea in the am then water for the rest of the day. It's what we like.

We loved the business class room! Perfect location to the bus stop and foodcourt. We didn't spend any money on breakfast since we just ate there. Saved time too since it isn't even a 2 minute walk from the room. We would also take a banana from there every day to the park for a little mid day snack. We always feel like we never are eating fruit in Disney so it was nice. We weren't there in the evening, except for the day of check out but we had a nice little snack there before the magical express.

It is nice, very small, limited seating. Keep in mind that the lounge is not open during the day, it reopens at 5:00 p.m. With the dining plan, I'm not sure that I would spend an extra $300 for business class.

we have never stayed at CSR before. Is the location itself worth the price? I understand it's a huge resort. Last trip we stayed at poly and where literally the first building away from main building. I'm worried we go to a huge resort far away from main building we will dislike it just for that reason. Obviously we can't afford the poly this year.

You will obviously get varying opinions on this, but IMO yes it is.

BC rooms are in Cabanas 9B which was always one of the most requested buildings at CSR. Many of us CSR diehards rejoiced when BC became a booking class as many of us thought it was worth it for the guaranteed location of 9B. Everything else that goes with it was just gravy.

9B is a 2 min walk to food court, 2 mins, to main pool, 1 min to bus stop, 1 min to quiet pool and laundry. Can't beat the location.

I agree that the location is worth the price.

Preferred at CSR is over in Casitas. BC is the best balance of "close to El Centro" and "close to feature pool" that is a guaranteed placement.

Is the parking lot convenient for business class? We will have a rental car for resort meals and such. Having two kids and big stroller I think a rental car would be nice.

We stayed in business class last year with 4 adult females in the room and it was TOTALLY worth it. I had broken my foot just prior to the trip so we had to rent a wheelchair and the extra space and bigger beds were nice. Being in business class put us super close to the bus stops and the main building. While we didn't take advantage of the alcoholic drinks, we took advantage of the soda, water, cookies and breakfast offerings. We were not on the dining plan and none of us are huge breakfast eaters so being able to grab a muffin or bagel "to-go" was perfect for us. The cookies that they put out in the evening are also delicious! I'm staying at POP next trip because I'm trying to keep the trip as inexpensive as possible, but I would do CSR business class again in a heartbeat (especially if I didn't have a dining plan)!
