CSME or CSM?

After reading all the posts saying how run down the "Old Town" area has become, I am starting to re-think my stay at Comfort Suites Maingate East. Should I cancel (on points) and book CSM? I am staying there in couple of weeks with DD17 and DD12. Only for a few nights after our cruise and stay at POP. Any recent stays in the area or advice appreciated!

last year and again this year - I am staying in the area - but across the street and a little closer to Celebration.

It was a very nice area - last year. Hoping it will be this year.

Vacation Village at Parkway.

if you are using choice points - I might go with Comfort Inn LBV. or QUality Inn Maingate West - it is on the other side closer to AK. but still a nice place in a fairly nice area.

I haven't read very good reviews lately on the above mentioned properties. I have stayed at CSM in April during the Disney Channel Games Concert and know how easy it is to get to DW through Serberth Rd. Is there an easy way from CSME?? (Other than 192). Thanks!

yea but don't remember which way you turn -get on International Drive South - turn left at the next traffic light - Gayload is here so you can't miss this one. Osecola Parkway.

shortly you will be on WDW property - WWoS on your left, the turn to Pop on your right.

gee too bad Quality Inn has gone down hill. It was okay not great but okay.
