CSI NY fans...

Hi there.
I just saw snippets of the most recent CSI NY show and
Mac mentioned about his wife's body never found ??
Can anyone elaborate...
I thought his wife was killed (shot) a street......

His wife died on 9-11 in the Towers. That's probably why they never found a body.

I now wonder if Mac will forge (more of) a friendship with her son.

I have really liked the side story of Mac and Reed. Their first meeting was so poingnent (sp) because he thought Stella was his mom. He was so sad when Mac told him.

For some reason, the CSI:NY side stories feel much more real then the CSI:Miami stuff with H and his undercover bro who might or might not have crossed the line and ended up in Brazil with the wife H coveted and nephew who was starting to get into "trouble". ... whew!

Yep, she's supposed to have passed on 9/11.

Although, since her body was never found that leaves it wide open that maybe she ran off. I know, I've been watching daytime soaps too long.

This season, I've liked the NY one better than the Miami (which has become unwatchable), but still, neither one is as good as LV. The Miami one has become too gimmicky, and H's one-liners don't sound as natural as Grissom's.

oh and I forgot about H's tragic love affair with Delco's sister with cancer who almost got Delco fired for getting her pot but was shot to death just before she could marry H against Delco's wishes.....
