Without having to upgrade to a preferred room what resort is better as far as the walking distance to the OS?

Best resort for a 2 year old?

Best resort for buses?

Best for overall experience and why?

Traveling with hubby, 15 year old, 12 year old, 2 1/2 year old and myself.

I haven't been to CS but I have been to CBR and it's a beautiful resort. We had no issues with the bus, never waited more than 5 minutes and it was busy that week. The pools are amazing, they have a really cool pirate ship splash pad for littles and a nice big pool with two slides (one small, one larger) for the kids or yourself (I went down it) and the hot tubs are nice. The preferred rooms are super close to all the action and the bus stop. The rooms are spacious and all newly renovated. I loved CBR and would definitely go back.

1. Unless you book a Pirate Themed Room at CBR, the walking distance will be the same.

2. I wouks say CBR because of the kiddie splash area and zero entry.

3. They are both equal.

4. They're both nice but we prefer CBR because of the theme and the laid back, relaxed atmosphere.

CBR will be better for your littlest one, thanks to the splash area. CSR has some of the best busing on property and a great waterslide, but the pool itself is not so exciting for a toddler.

Of the two, I would choose CBR for a little one. CSR is pretty, but I do not think it was designed with very young children in mind. It is lovely, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. But it is understated to appeal to business customers. CBR is large, but is more "fun". I like it a lot.

If I was choosing a resort with a two year old in mind, I would not choose either one of these resorts. I would head straight to POFQ. The King Triton pool was inviting to my little DGD, and the distance to any building negligible when compared to either CBR or CSR.

I agree with both of the above :thumbsup2.

I haven't stayed at CSR but I always get the feel that it's more for "adults" as everyone I know who stayed there did so without kids. It's also a convention center so perhaps that factors into why it seems more adult oriented.

I have stayed at CBR and we loved it. The bus service was the best we've had on property to date, the kiddie pool area with the pirate ship and the barrel of water that dumps every couple of minutes was tons of fun for my little guys. And the overall quiet relaxed feel of the resort was really very nice.

I've stayed at both, and I wouldn't stay at CBR again unless I had a preferred room. At CSR if you ask to be near the fitness center you will also end up fairly close to the food court and very near the first bus stop picked up/dropped off to the parks. If you book standard at CBR you can end up having quite a walk to the food court and the themed pool.

How much will you be using the resort amenities...?

CBR's zero entry pool and splash pad at CBR are ideal for small children. However, the central location and bus service at CSR are a major plus.

I'm preferential to CBR, they have a great pool, zero entry is great for little ones, but it is just my opinion. Good luck in your choice.

We ADORE CBR, and if you stay in Aruba or Jamaica (non preferred rooms) you are at most a 7 minute walk to OPR pool and food court.
CS is actually quite lovely, but we didn't like it as well. The grandchildren love love love CBR's pool area.
So my vote is for CBR!

Stayed in both.

LOVE CBR. I call it my Disney home.

I'll be polite here... They would have to pay me if they wanted me to stay at CSR again. Hated everything about that resort. And I was in the closest section to everything so distance has nothing to do with it. Just...no.
