I have 2 evenings that we don't have ADRs since our TS meals will be at breakfast, so I'm looking for suggestions of places to go for CS meals at either another resort (we're staying at WL in Oct) or DTD, Boardwalk, somewhere outside of a park.

Any CS places you would recommend? At the time of travel, we'll have a 5 year old and 2.5 year old, and a 9 month old.

Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express both at DTD Marketplace. I can also recommend Cookes of Dublin by Raglan Road at Pleasure Island.

Can you take kids to Pleasure Island? I haven't been to the Disney area since my honeymoon and at that time you were ID'd to get in (dh and I had plans to check it out but we couldn't b/c I wasn't 21 yet).

I whole-heartedly second either of those recommendations. Or if you're looking for a more "food court" feel, perhaps Pop Century because they have a decent variety of choices.

Even though they still call it Pleasure Island, there are no longer any night clubs and they do not charge admission. It is just shops and restaurants now.

Another vote for Wolfgang Pucks Express and Earl of Sandwich.

Both are fabulous!

I also second very much the Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich ideas. They are both wonderful.

Beaches and Cream is table service but might be fun. I can't think of any cs at the Boardwalk that is worth a trip over, although your kids might enjoy the activities at the Boardwalk at night.

You could also try out Captain Cooks at the Polynesian then watch the Electical Water Pageant and Wishes from the beach (although you'll probably see the EWP from WL).

I totally agree with Wolfgang Puck Express. We eat there at least twice per trip, usually more. Very good, hot, fresh food and great variety that you won't find at most CS...:goodvibes

Thanks!

What else is there to do at DTD? I have been to WDW about 5 times, but never to DTD or the Boardwalk.
