CS Salads?

I am considering a quick trip to WDW after the holidays and was thinking of trying the CS dining plan. In all the the times I have been to WDW, I don't think I have ever ordered a salad at a CS place.

Can anyone recommend some good CS salads they have had?

I had the following CS salads:

Backlot Express at DHS:

Southwest Salad with Chicken over mixed greens, crisp corn tortilla, black bean relish, grilled sweet plantains and chimichurri dressing $7.19 (I think mine was without chicken, but otherwise it sounds very much like what I had)

This was very good, a bit different, lots of different tastes going on there. I think it was my favourite

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot:

Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese Salad with Cilantro and Lime dressing $7.09

This was nice, but I am not such a great fan of beets. I found it a bit bland.

Seared Tuna on Mixed Greens with Sesame Rice Wine dressing $8.39

Really liked this, had it three times so far. However, the quality of the tuna varies.

Cantina de San Angels at Epcot:

Ensalada Mexicana - tortilla shell filled with grilled chicken, black refried beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheese and Mexican salsa $8.75

Not good at all! I think it was the worst salad I ever ordered. Very plain, no dressing and the chicken was very dark meet.

Had the Caesar Salad with Chicken - $7.19 at Pizzafari earlier this year and was totally surprised on how good it was! DW and I split that and a Hot Italian Style Sandwich (with Carrot Sticks or Chips - Turkey, ham, Swiss and Provolone Cheese topped with Caesar salad and pesto marinated tomatoes - $7.49) and it probably was our best CS meal all week.

I've also had the Seared Tuna on Mixed Greens with Sesame Rice Wine dressing $8.39, but must of caught a bad tuna day because it was not very good.

Studio Catering Company in DHS has a good Greek salad with feta.

Pecos Bill has a good salad.

I did not at all like the goat cheese and beet salad from Seasons; as other poster said, it was bland.

Tried several salads around the parks, but by far the best were the make-your-own salad "bar" at Marketplace in Beach Club and the chef salad from room service at BC. I am not sure that either are CS, but they were great!

My DH and DD would never eat salad in "real life" but they got these salads with chicken several times. The fixings were so fresh, great choices and HUGE portions!

The chef salad definately isn't CS, but boy was it good! We were starving when we got back from MNSSHP at around 1:30am and had very few choices. This hit the spot with a nice tall glass o' milk. This was another HUGE salad, nice fresh, quality meats and cheeses.

Okay, I want to be there now.....

Pizza Planet at HS has 2 salads: Pizza Planet Chicken Salad - Mixed greens, grilled chicken, cantaloupe, cucumber, red onion, tomato, green peas, fresh basil and balsamic vinaigrette $7.19

Caprese Salad - Mixed Greens, red and yellow grape tomatoes, mozzarella, kalamata olives, cucumber, fresh basil and balsamic vinaigrette $6.49

They were both very good and I'd recommend either!

I love chicken caesar salads and have eaten them from all over the parks, they are the same and very good. WPE in DTD has amazing salads. I have not tried it yet but the chicken BLT salad from Columbia House in MK looks incredible

For something a little different, you could get a taco salad at El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante and add lots of lettuce.
