Last time we were al AK, the 3 of us, ate at Flame tree Barbacue. Also the 3 of us ask for the Barbacue Ribs. It was so much food, that got waisted, so I dont want that to happen again. (waching over the planet ;)), so if some of you can point me out which CS restaurants have dishes big enough to share at each park will be great.:)

Cosmic Ray's at MK - huge portions! One entree is 1/2 rotisserie chicken with ribs & 2 sides or you can get "just" the chicken with 2 sides or the 1/2 rack ribs with 2 sides. All three are more than I could eat at one sitting & leave with my pants buttoned! :lmao:

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot - they have several stations where you can choose your food with a central cashier booth. The grill section has 1/2 chicken with 2 sides (pretty sure it's the same chicken as Cosmic Ray's). Plus if you're doing DDP, your dessert comes from their bakery which has monster-sized pastries. :cloud9:

Pecos Bill's and Cosmic Ray's at MK also have a toppings bar. I believe both serve a chicken/turkey wrap. I've split those once you add extra lettuce and tomato. As mentioned Sunshine Seasons is a great choice at EPCOT. I've split taco salads as well. My daughter and I plan to do this again, when we return in August.

A platter at Cosmic Ray's can easily be shared. Now with my DH...not so sure! ;)

The wrap at Peco Bills can easily be shared also.

I think most places the food can be shared easily. Paying OOP for an extra side would make it really easy to share too.

This upcoming trip I plan on sharing more meals with DH. We really don't need to get so full especially since we eat TS for dinner. DS is a Disney adult and I plan on having him and DD share a lot of his adult meals. OR letting DS eat the kids meals and DD get an adult meal since she is a more adventurous eater.

Add yak and yeti counter service meals, definately for 2 ppl. Agree w/ cosmic rays and wolfgang puck express in dtd. We often shared a cs bf and cs lunch and then ate a ts dinner on the dining plan.

Flame Tree at AK has bar B Q plates.
FairFax Fare has pick two BBQ plates Chicken, ribs, brisket.
Tangerine Cafe. Has about 6-7 different items on the plate. Best CS at Disney in my opinion.
Wolfgang Puck at DTD. Just like a table service, except you place your order at a counter. Spaghetti and meatballs is enough for two normal people. Pizzas can be shared also.
:thumbsup2

At Pecos Bills, you can order the double cheeseburger meal and the pay for just another bun... Two meals in one! Or just divide the two beef patties and load them up with yumminess from the toppings bar!

Tangierine Cafe @ Epcot: The chicken/lamb schwarma platter was excellent and definately big enough to share.
Pizzafari @ AK: The Hot Italian sandwich was very good and also enough to share.

:)

DD and I shared the chicken wrap at Pecos Bills a few times..DH and I shared BBQ chicken quesdilla at Wolfgangs..

The sandwiches at Starring Rolls are huge. Just saying. And so are the cupcakes. Make it share-able? Get a cup of iced water.
But plenty of CS restaurants give you masses of food making it so easy to share!

1. Cosmic Rays Chicken,Ribs,Green Beans, taters then head 2 the hot bar and put u some sauteed mushrooms on top of the beans get a few slices of tomtoes & sprinkle some salt & pepper and u will be set!

2. Wolf Puck Express is Wonderful 2 B honest its better than man TS u wont go wrong!

The platters at Tangierine Cafe are huge, have several different items, and are superbly tasty!

WPE has pretty large portions. I had the Chinois Chicken Salad one day and took half back to the room!

The sandwiches at Starring Rolls have a LOT of meat on them. It would plenty of food for 2 people to share - I would make each person an open faced sandwich. And they come with a bag of chips.

DH & I have split sandwiches at the Sunshine Seasons Food Court in Epcot - Their sandwiches are huge and we had no trouble finding a table to sit at and eat. The portions at Yak & Yeti take out are pretty large also, I ate 1/2 of mine and DH finished it off (after eating his whole one).

Cosmic Ray's in the Magic Kingdom and the Yak & Yeti counter service location stand out as places with sharable portions.

I also agree with the posters who mentioned Wolfgang Puck Express. The pizzas (especially the spicy chicken) are fabulous, but they are definitely meant for more than one typical eater. Wolfgang Puck is my favorite counter service option on property. I prefer it to plenty of table service restaurants!

Cosmic rays - 1/2 chicken plus sides or ribs and chicken plus sides
Most Cs have a chicken fingers ( normal 4 or 5) basket with fries. we get a extra side and its plenty
Resorts food courts they have a big breakfast, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, bacon and mickey waffle.
Water parks they have a chicken wrap that is huge more than enough for 2 people.
Downtown disney- Earl of sandwich and Wolfgang puck CS
Epcot - Sunshine seasons food court, china counter service (get extra egg rolls)
Fish and chips in England -
AK - Flame tree - not my fav. but plenty to share
DH - terrible CS there go back to your resort to eat.

This is exactly why DH and I don't get the dining plan. We took a short 4-night trip once and thought we'd try DDP. We ended up with 5 CS credits left over! Even with such a short trip! We much prefer sharing a CS for lunch and leaving room for snackies! The CS portions are usually big enough to share anywhere.

We almost always share at CS meals. We used to get 2 meals to share between the 4 of us but now we get 3 to share. We noticed that in general the portions have gotten a little smaller. There are still many place that have huge portions though. In particular....

WPE....we could still easily share 2 meals between us.
Pepper Market
Cosmic Rays
The value resort food courts.....the dinner platters tend to be very large.
