Kind of wanting to try this on next vacation, I have never had lambs and not sure if I want to so could you give me some of your favorite's. I seen they have just a chicken schwarma platter. I have eaten @ Boma for dinner and did like trying new things. While my family would be happy eating burgers and chicken @ CS I am not so I figured I could get mine to go or meet them somewhere they like.

I always get the Schwarma platter, typically the chicken and lamb combo. If you aren't sure about lamb, you could just get the chicken platter. However, I have to put a plug in for the vegetarian platter which is FABULOUS, and I'm not vegetarian. My mom always goes for that instead of the meat there.

This is one of my favourite CS:love:
The vegetarian plate with falafel, lentil salad, hummus, tabbouleh and couscous are good and make a nice break from the blander WDW fare. The bread is soft and great for mopping up the hummus and salads. I'm not much of a meat eater so DH generally eats the shawarma (lamb) and says it's pretty standard shaved lamb. The desserts are yum, but I'm pretty much a sucker for anything involving phyllo. There is a separate pastry case at the back where they have yummy tangerine fruit drinks with an option for an "adult":) version.
Also.... they have Turkish coffee which comes in handy when the enrgy starts to flag. There are many pastries and I've never tried one I didn't like:thumbsup2

I'll second the vegetarian plate. I'm not a vegetarian, yet that's what I always get. And you can get the soft bread, or you can request and get the pita bread.

We ate there twice on our recent trip (just back today) thought the food was really good here and liked the fact that it was not another burger or pizza. Would say its now a firm favourite for us. We both had the platters lamb and chicken.

I've been happy with the schwarma....the sides are so fresh and delicious.

Be aware that I read a recent dining report that the falafel have changed. Apparantly there are different spices in it now that were not well received.
Could have been a one time occurance.
I am also a fan of falafel...anywhere, but haven't tried them there.

as long as you get some of the hummus and tabouleh it will be GOOD there!

What is falafel? I havent had anything here except the hummus and a pina colada but have plannned lunch here on our trip that starts in 6 days.. Does it taste anything at all like a veggie burger pattie? I like those..

Falafels are like little fritters made of chickpeas, parsley, garlic, onion and fried served warm in soft bread or pita along with hummus which is chickpea/tahini spread
It's sort of the Moroccan equivalent of the Southern hushpuppy but with protein instead of carbs
Here's the wiki

They get :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Ohh! Sounds like I will love falafel! LOL I already love hummus, have some in the fridge now..Now if I can talk DD into getting the lamb platter so I can get just a bit of the lamb too! LOL

Ooooh, this sounds like a fantastic lunch idea for one of our two Epcot days. I hadn't even thought of Morocco, but the lamb & chicken schwarma platter sounds delish! Adding this to the agenda! :thumbsup2

I am not a fan of lamb but the chicken and vegetarian platters are both excellent. This is our fave counter service in any of the 4 parks.

The Schwarma lamb and chicken dishes are very similar to Greek Gyro. It isn't like eating plain lamb or chicken.

Here is the WONDERFUL vegetarian platter:

clockwise starting with marinated olives, bread, hummus, tabouleh, couscous & lentil salad. Absolutely mouth watering delicious!

Due to recommendations from this board we tried this CS and found it to be a waste of money. There was little that was tasty - the chicken was like sponge - taste and look, we really threw it away.

Let me add, you get a lot of food with the shwarma platter. Last week, however, the Hummus was tasteless, but everything else was good!

I also have to politely disagree. Our family found this the worst meal, we had eaten in a long time. Tasteless, cold and just not appealing at all.

We love the lamb and chicken scwarma platter. Ate it twice on our last trip. I always request that they sub pita bread for the bread that comes with it, which they always do without a problem.

We hit this on Thursday for something different. i had a lamb wrap and dw had a chicken wrap just before illuminations. This was one of our favorite cs meals. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I have had the chicken and lamb schwarma platter. As for the lamb, if I didn't know I would have thought it was beef. Everything was very good.

That would be a real shame if they are changing the food here too. Another favorite place turned to crap due to mass production instead of fresh quality.

Like I said earlier, I read a report that the falafel that used to be the poster's favorite, tasted different/terrible now.
