cs for kids do they get a dessert?

I SO cannot wait to tell my kids they can have dessert for every meal! (well, not really breakfast...but you know what I mean!)
And to be able to get Mickey bars, make your own covered rice krispie Mickey bar...WHAT FUN! (I'm not sure that the kids are even as excited about it as me...of course, this is still a "we're thinking about Disney next fall break" to them!!! WOO HOO!)

I thought for CS kids desserts were pretty much limited to jello, a fruit cup or apple sauce.

Yum, now that sounds so good.

However I'll be happy to give my kids my dessert and I'll eat the fruit cup.

I just went back and looked at the CS menus. If jello is listed under desserts for the kids is that their only choice? Some CS places don't specifically list any desserts on the kids menus, do they get to pick one off the adult menu or is the apple sauce counted as the dessert?

For kids CS desserts what we saw last week was jello, chocolate & sometimes vanilla pudding and small packaged cookies. My little one didn't like any of those so she used her snack credit or I bought her something else if she wanted dessert.

We just got back and they didn't even offer just the Jello as a dessert choice--just told us to pick one(any dessert) off the menu.
We never did pick the jello.

Unfortunately the desert selection for kids is separate from the selection from adults. For example some of the former kids' choices are now adult choices, for example at LeCellier, the "moose" is now on the adult menu and kids can only get it if you're willing to pay extra for it. CS seems to have limited choices, but not sure about resort food courts. The choices "may" be better there. I'll let you know when I return as I leave in an hour and will be gone 2 weeks.
