We took a 3 year break from Disney but are back on the boat. it will be me, my wife and 2 boys(15,13). The last 3 trips we were on the dining plan with 1 CS and 1 sit down meal. We have decided to use the CS dining plan this year to give us a little more flexibility.

What are your 3 favorite Counter Service locations in all of Walt Disney World?

Since you're on the dining plan, I'm trying to think of places where you get bang for your buck.

I think BOG is about the best possible use of a CS anywhere. Definitely has more of a sit down feel to it. But you do have to book ADRs.

Columbia Harbor House is always good and a nice break from "typical" CS fare.

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot has a nice selection and a GREAT dessert case.

Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs also has huge portions and very good food.

Flametree Barbecue at Animal Kingdom. Again, huge portions and very tasty!

I know that's more than three but those are definitely ones I would consider!

I agree. MK: Columbia Harbor House, EPCOT: Sunshine Seasons, AK: Flametree BBQ, and HS: We do breakfast before we arrive and do a TS because we don't really enjoy any of the CS. If we were only doing CS, I think we'd venture into World Showcase at Epcot instead of Sunshine Seasons just because we'd miss the ethnic choices.

I agree with the above poster....Wolfgang Puck Express has huge portions and the food is pretty much like TS restaurant. So amazing. I have a pic in my link below if you wanna see. The value is amazing when on the dining plan! My fave is the bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashed potato and onion straws.

Flame Tree, Columbia HH, Yak & Yeti CS are all pretty good. I know Sunshine Seasons is popular, but i wasnt really crazy about my meal last time. Im going to stick to the world showcase instead. I actually like the france bakery. You get a huge baguette sandwich, dessert and drink!

EDIT: I forgot one! BOG lunch! Love that place!!

BOG(lunch) Tangerine Cafe(our favorite hidden gem) and Cosmic Rays more for the tradition and Sunny Eclipse than the food

This is easy!

1. Tangierine Cafe (Epcot)
2. Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom)
3. Wolfgang Puck Express (Disney Springs)

Honorable Mentions:

1. Flame Tree BBQ (Animal Kingdom)
2. Columbia Harbor House (Magic Kingdom)
3. Pecos Bill's (Magic Kingdom)
4. Captain Cook's (Polynesian)
5. Contempo Cafe (Contemporary)

Hello there! MY family loves Les Halles (France bakery) in Epcot.....excellent desserts....you can pick almost anything in the dessert case! Also you can get anything you order heated up/toasted. I LOVE the spinach and goat cheese Quiche and ds still talks about the ham and cheese baguette (and thats saying somethin cus he is P-I-C-K-Y!!!!) https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/les-halles-boulangerie-patisserie/menus/

Our other two faves are both at Downtown Disney. Wolfgang puck express is excellent. You get sit-down meals for a counter service credit. I love their flatbread pizzas and the meatloaf is yummy too! https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...ess-downtown-disney-marketplace/menus/dinner/

The last of our faves is Cookes of Dublin. It is right next to Raglan Road and dh likes that he can pop into the pub and grab a pint to drink with his meal when we go here. I love the fried shrimp and older ds really enjoyed the chicken ceasar salad....they have some neat regional things on the menu as well https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/disney-springs/cookes-of-dublin/menus/dinner/

Happy Dining! :yay:

Be Our Guest
Flametree
Sunshine Seasons

You didn't ask about snacks, but I feel bad about leaving HS out. I can't really recommend a top QS there, but definitely get a carrot cake cookie at The Writer's Stop. It's a snack option but it's almost a meal in itself!

Pecos Bill 100%. Toppings bar!!

The best way 2 spend a extra credit if you have one is Karamel Kuche. 3 snack credits for 1 qs = alot of popcorn to bring home

First is as others have said is Puck Express in the Marketplace. Cooke's is also very good but check out the menu to make sure it appeals to you. We haven't been in the last 4 trips but we also enjoyed CHH. The menu at the bakery in France looks good but I enjoy lunch too much at Chef's de France to try it yet.

also Columbia house..
Epcot, sunshine Seasons,

My husband and I wouldn't dare miss Yorkshire Fish at Epcot, Sunshine Seasons, and Captain Cooks (we stop by the pineapple lanai on the way out for dole whips). Yummo!
