CS (convention) vs AS vs offsite

My wife and I (kids at home) have 5 nites in the area. Convention at CS 8-10th. $130 a nite isn't appealing, AS resorts are $77 per nite or do we stay off site for$60? Can you walk from AS resorts to CS?

It would be a long long walk between AS and CSR. There also isn't resort to resort buses. Why not stay at CSR for the convention then move to another location. It is great just being able to walk down the hall to the convention.

Yes I have stayed off site several times. The first time I did I swore I never would do it again. But that was because of the hotel and the location. We have stayed several other times offsite because of the price and had a great time.

We have gone to Universal and the Mall of Millenia for our off site adventures. We keep saying we want to do more but haven't done it yet. So I guess I need to plan a few more trips.
