Hi,

I've done a search, and I have looked at the menu on All Ears, but I was hoping to get some first hand knowledge of how other DIS'ers have used their CS credits at Sunshine Seasons. The menu doesn't really list side dishes and such, and it seems a little confusing :confused3 .

So what I'm really looking for is what other people actually got, using the DDP.

Thanks so much!

Salmon with mashed potatoes (and some kind of yummy sauce).

Soarin Orange Creme Brulee

Large Diet Coke (no ice) - drinks are self serve

At Asian Noodles I was able to get two entrees with two sides, a bottle of water and a double scoop of ice cream for my CS meal. My husband got the same except he had cheesecake.

We ate so much food in five days that I am surprised I didn't gain more weight. (5#) I can wait until our next trip at Thanksgiving!

We had pre-packaged california rolls (9 pieces) as entree, bottled water and in lieu of dessert, we were able to get a small cup of macaroni salad.

Emily,
I'd love to know what type of choices were offered at the Asian station. Is it like fast food Chinese food at the mall or more healthy--like a stir fry? Were the sides rice and lo mein or something else? Thanks for your help--we are trying to plan out an Epcot day with a picky husband and two young kids!

It all sounds really great! Anyone else? It's looking like this CS could rival Cosmic Ray's for bang for the 'buck'.

I had a similar type CS at Asian Noodles. They had four entree choices to choose from and most of them were packed with veggies and/or meat. I had broccoli and beef and some chicken selection.

The sides were lo mein, fried or steamed rice, and veggies I think.

It isn't like your Chinese food place at the mall. To me, it was more Szechuan (a little bit spicier). It is definitely enough food for two people. The plates and portions are on a square plate and by the time you are done, it is as big as a small pizza (not pan sized but think 8-inches).

I had rotisserie chicken with greens (basically a salad) on a flatbread (pita), DH had chicken ceasar with his choice of side (potato chips), kids had mac 'n' cheese, and we all got desserts. The kids had a choice of worms in dirt or Nestle cookies, DH and I tried chocolate cake and fruit tulips (basically an extremely delicious amazingly good fruit tart). This was our favorite CS place. We even went there and used some snack credits on desserts on afternoon (those fruit tulips go for a snack credit...the best use ever of one!).
