CS at HS??

We have always lunched at Pizza Planet but after our experience there last year I don't really want to go back-We ran into a language barrier with all the employees-not one of them spoke unbroken English (sorry but we are in florida) and the addition of the palm sized kids meal I am a little burnt out. Where else do you suggest???

There are not a lot of great CS dining options at HS. We usually eat at our resort on a HS day if we don't have an ADR.

Just curious, why was broken English a problem? Florida has a very large
Spanish speaking population, so I wasn't sure how to interpret your concern.

Sorry...no good CS at DHS. We go to SciFi. It's pretty good and not that bad price wise.

We have had lunch at the ABC Commissary...it was just OK.

BTW, POP is not that far from DHS. They have a great food court. Even if you are not a guest there you can go there for a meal.

That is what I was afraid of-we try to arrange meals for the location that we are at-both DH and myself hate to take the time to leave just to eat we would rather have the time in the park. As far as the language issue I felt like I had gone to go get my nails done instead of ordering a meal. It took and extremely long time not just for us but for other travelers as well because it was even more of a challenge to communicate. I don't mean for this to sound ugly it just really got to me on our last trip because we encountered this several times and we usually don't

We try the back lot express,was not bad. Dont get discourged one bad experince even two does not mean the whole place Is bad. I know there Is alot of bad reviews here on CS at HS but I think everytime Is diffrent,some bad but some good.Where HS Is not at the top of our list we try something here and there all the time,good luck.

Studio Catering has a great barbq sandwich on a hoagie bun with chips. Backlot Express has standard burger and fries, but we thought the fries were outstanding. Starring Roles has a prefixed sandwich with chips and the best selection of desserts in the World. It's real popular here to bash DHS qs, but there are good options. The least popular place in all of WDW on this site is ABC Commisary was voted favorite qs at WDW by a rival site, so it's hard to gauge.
