I am going to Animal Kingdom for one day coming in July. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for lunch.

When we go to Magic Kingdom we always go to Cosmic Rays, so I was wondering if they had something like that at AK. Please. Thanks, Chris!

You can check out menus on allearsnet.com. I don't think thwere is anything like Cosmic Ray's. We like Pizzafari for pizza, breadsticks, and salad. There is also Tusker House (mostly chicken) and Flame Tree BBQ for ribs, chicken, pork sandwich. You can get fresh fruit in the African village too.

My kids like the Restaurantasaurus (sp?). It's over in Dinoland. In the morning it's a Character Breakfast Buffet with Donald and Friends. In the afternoon/evening it's a CS with burgers etc, including McD's fries and chicken nuggets. The burgers are standard WDW, not McD's.

Definitely try Tusker House. We are huge fans of Cosmic Rays chicken and ribs and LOVE the chicken at Tusker house.

I've gotta third tusker house, that's my families favorite.
But I agree with georgina look at allearsnet, that might help you decide on which restaurant.

Flame Tree BBQ is da bomb! Great food, probaly one of my fav cs places in WDW. It has a nice hidden area to eat at too, right along the lake. Sometimes Mickey and the crew will float by on a boat and give you great picture opportunities. Great food!

I've tried the main three-Tusker House, Flame Tree BBQ, and Pizzafari. I keep going back to Pizzafari-you can't beat their hot deli sandwich. Yum!

I love both Flame Tree and Tusker House. DD and I can share a CS at either of these places.

I enjoy the weird Dino-Music better than the food at the Glorified McDonalds. Never had the pizza place.

Has anyone heard when the new restaurant is opening? I think it going to be both TS and CS.

Ive only tried Pizzafari out of all the times Ive been to WDW but I thought the pizza tasted like a cheap frozen pizza..Normally we get a turkey leg and drink and then go and get an ice cream.. I think Id like to try Tusker house this time..
