Crystal Palace -- Two thumbs down!!

Wow... that sounds terrible... the other night we were there for just over an hour and the characters each came by 3 times... the place was packed... no reservations were available as I heard them turn people away....

We had a similar bad experience when we had Christmas Day brunch. I would like to say that it was because of the holiday, but there were so many no-shows that the place wasn't all that busy (despite a very long, wait to be seated -- never did figure out the reason for that). This has always been one of our favorite meals. Sadly, we won't be returning any time soon. The food was just not very good (biscuits and gravy tasted exactly like the nasty stuff they were serving for breakfast at Pizzafari during December and at ASports last summer), the service was downright unfriendly (and we're an easy-going, happy bunch with no special requests), and the place was DIRTY. When we went last summer, the experience was still very good. I've been reading a lot of negative reports for CP on here lately.
