Crystal Palace, breakfast, 5/23
Characters present: Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet (lobby only), Tigger
Our last breakfast here was a disaster and I didnt want to repeat it. Neither did DH. However, our preschooler really wanted to try again, because it was so bad. Go figure. You can learn a lot from a 4 yo. So we booked an early, pre-park opening, breakfast. It was a nice peak into a quite, MK. I highly recommend that. Otherwise, this trip wasnt anything great either though.
We did see the characters this time, briefly. They came by waved, signed, and ran a way. They completely ignored our toddler, which was fine since he was scared of them at this time, but they didnt know this. And they only came by once in the hour- hour and a half we were there.
Our server was not happy to be there. She was curt and short. Getting drinks and then refills was a LONG wait, almost impossible. We even had a hard time getting our checkwe would have liked to have been out of there about 20 minutes sooner. She definitely was not friendly in any way. Nor helpful. I found this pretty typical this week though.
The food was better this time around, but still not anything extra special. Just basic foods for the most part. Not an overly wide selection. I did really like the breakfast lasagna. Our kids just kind of picked over most of the food. My DH just basically ate the fruit at this point with a little bit of eggs, which he said were pretty rubbery.
Overall, this was our last trip to CP. If we want to dine with Pooh, well go over to 1900 Park Fair.
