Which would you choose for lunch?
Is dinner better than lunch at Crystal Palace?

I guess it would depend on whether I wanted the character meal at CP. We've had dinner there twice and enjoyed it, and our kids love Pooh and friends. My husband and I ate at the Plaza by ourselves last year and it was good, but it's just sandwiches and salads. To me, you can't really compare CP and Plaza because they are different experiences.

I will say that if you're going for free dining (done it twice) I'd pick the CP dinner over Plaza. More bang for the buck and great variety.

Hope this helps!

We have never tried the Plaza, but have heard good things.
We have tried Crystal Palace for both lunch and breakfast. We prefer lunch. Breakfast was way to crowded! We like the lunch because it's a nice break from the park, the food was excellent, and the character interaction was great. (The characters came around to our table more then once.) I would choose Crystal Palace lunch. We really enjoyed it!:)

Do you think the Crystal Palace (with its character meal) is good for two adults (ages: 28, 30)? We would like to try the Crystal Palace, but don't want to feel out of place without any kids.

Don't worry about it! Plenty of adults go to the character meals. You won't feel out of place and the characters will still visit with you and do pictures and autographs!

I prefer Plaza over CP, I like the atmosphere better.
I have been to CP with just adults and never felt uncomfortable. You will see lots of other parties of just adults.

I agree that it's kind of like comparing apples and oranges - they are so different.

I love the Plaza for lunch. They have great sandwiches, and I've always had excellent service there. It's a small restaurant, and it has some good views if you can get a window table. The ice cream sundaes are good too! It's always very relaxing there. My only complaint is that some of the tables are set very close together, especially in the solarium section.

CP is a character buffet. I don't particularly like buffets, for many reasons, but that's a personal preference. You would have the character interaction, as well as a wide variety of food to choose from, and to eat until you're full (although I've always been stuffed leaving the Plaza - so I guess it's "all I can eat"). Any time I walk past CP, it's always very busy - not as relaxing an atmosphere, but more festive.

It really depends on what kind of food you are interested in, and what type of dining experience appeals more to you.
