We have a PS at LTT at 5:20 on 10/17 for our MNSSH party. I am thinking about switching to Crystal Palace once the reservatio window opens up.

Which one is a better one? I read that the characters at CP does not dress up while the ones at LTT do. Is that right? I just thought that my kids will like Pooh and Tigger better than the characters at LTT.

Thanks:D

This is our first time trying MNSSHP - and I have a PS at LTT for 5:15 on Oct 14. I thought I had read on the boards that the characters do "dress up" for Halloween.

Marla,

Can you elaborate a little. This is what I always hear, but I don't know why. Thanks so much.:D

I prefer LTT over CP also. I can elaborate from my experiences last October. The waiters/waitresses at LTT were all dressed as Haunted Mansion characters which was cool (although they made sure not to scare out little ones). The characters were also in costume which was fun. We have eaten at CP and LTT numerous times. I enjoy LTT more because the meal is served family style and there is no need to get up to go to the buffet, like at CP. I find it difficult to go back and forth for food and time everything so that a character is not approaching the table at the moment you leave. It's a little harrowing, although we usually do make a reservation at CP at some point for the characters. We also enjoy LTT more in general, just our family opinion. Also you may want to consider that the characters at LTT are changing or have changed and rather than Chip and Dale, they will be including Donald and Daisy, who are pretty elusive at character meals. We are looking forward to the change since we usually have meals with Chip and Dale elsewhere. Have a great time no matter which one you choose!

I thought that Magic Kingdom PS's were 60 days in advance. How did you make your PS so early?

It is usually 60 days out for seatings but they allow you to book LTT early for the MNSSHP. The other MK restaurants will open up for ressies at the 60 day mark.

We ate at the LTT on Halloween night and it was wonderful! The food was great and all of the characters and cast members were in costume!
It is right outside the "Haunted River Boat Ride" and just down the street from the Haunted Mansion and we could hear the music and screams from the Haunted Mansion while we waited for our table. It was very cool and our best meal of the trip!
Have a great time!

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I have 2 girls, 5 and 2. Will they be scared of all the sight and sound around?

My daughters will be almost 2 and 5 1/2 on this next trip also.
We were there last year and the people working at LTT were dressed up scary but they made sure to not act scary towards the kids. They really avoided the baby and tried not to freak her out (she was 10 months), the characters scare her enough as it is!!

Have a great time!

MicheleC, I lived in Matawan (actually Aberdeen) back in 86 for 4 years before we moved to Lincroft and on to other places:D

Small world huh! We've been here in Matawan, actually Old Bridge but Matawan address, for two years now. We like it a lot. Grew up in Ocean County. Have fun on your trip!

Can you tell me what the charater meals cost for lunch or dinner? I'm taking my grandson down in Oct. and want to be sure and do at least one.

Thank

LTT is a sit down where you are served - the CP is buffet - 2 times I have eaten at CP I wasn't impressed with the food - the only reason did those meals cos the pooh characters are some of my dd's favs. Granted at CP our meals were breakfast and lunch felt the food was better at LTT
