Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's???

What about Tony's Town Square..is that any good? I know this isn't a character place, but it really doesn't matter. Just want a good place to eat at for our last night. I keep seeing mixed reviews on Tony's.

We've eaten at Tony's on our last 3 visits, and it has been good every time. It has become our usual "Welcome to the World" meal spot. I must say we've had our server recommend agains the vegetarian lasagna if you are not in absolute need of a vegetarian dish. Needless to say we've never tried it ;) Everything else we've had is very good.

That's a good idea. We have only one character breakfast ADR at 'Ohana at the beginning of our trip.
If we make an ADR for 9:00 at CP, will the rides be packed when we get done? (this is our first trip, not sure what to expect.) We will be there the 2nd week of May. Thanks for your suggestion, I think we may do that.

If you could get even earlier than 9, I would go for that for breakfast. Not only will it get you done with a full breakfast as the park opens or shortly after but it will also give you a chance to take some pictures of the castle and MSUSA without a lot of people getting in your shot, which is always a nice plus. This is provided that it is not an AM EMH day at MK.

As for if the rides will be backed, that really all comes down to your opinion of what packed is. There are some people who wont wait on a line that is 20 mins long or will only do rides with FP. Then there are some who have no issue with waiting 80-90 mins for a ride (or a lot longer if you go durring the week between Christmas and NYE for example). It really all depends on how you plan on doing MK. My girlfriend and I went the first week of this past May and found the crowds to be pretty manageable.

We've only done CM for breakfast and we really emjoy it. The character interaction is always great. I would love to try it out for dinner sometime.

We just returned from our trip and CP was awful. Tigger skipped our table twice. We watched him touch every table in our part of the dining room both times and overlook ours. We mentioned this to our server since meeting him was the only thing keeping us there. When Tigger was told to come to our table, he just hi 5'd our boys and left????:confused3

I know the characters do the parade march around the restaurant and that keeps them away a bit but Tigger was a complete let down. Our server forgot to celebrate/acknowledge our son's birthday and he was sad.

With both of those things happening and all of our focus on getting Tigger to visit our table, I couldn't even tell you if the food was good. :sad1:

We have never eaten @ CM beacuse almost all the reveiws are pretty bad. CP is a must for our family. It is greatb for b,l or dinner. WE have been there many times and never had a bad experience. You may have to wait a while to get seated though. The earlier thr ADR the better.

I've ate at both, and the food is much much better at the Crystal Palace. And how can you not have fun at a meal with Tigger and Pooh?:confused3

I prefer the CM characters, BUT...the food at CP is better, and there are plenty of chances to see Mickey and the gang all over WDW.:earsboy:

We agree CP is definitely the first choice. We have never had a bad meal at CP. There are plenty of choices for everyone there. We prefer a late lunch so that your not tied up at night for a long time waiting to eat.
