Ok, I'm going to the party on Thursday, October 5. Last year, this was not a particularly crowded party. Assuming I can get reservations, I'd like to eat at the Crystal Palace at 6 or so. Has anyone had a bad experience eating in the park on the night of the party? I'm sure it's probably terrible on a Friday or later in October, but how's early October? Just don't want to wind up eating in a zoo. Thanks for any advice!

I've eaten at CP, LTT, Castle, and Tony's before parties and enjoyed them all. I had no problems with it being too crowded or a zoo.

I always ate around 5:30p.

Great, thanks! I'll shoot for 5:30 then.

We have 5:45 ADR for a party earlier that week. We figured if the parks closes at 6 and they herd everyone to one area while they get the rest of the park ready for the party then we'd time it out perfectly - getting seated as they are getting ready to shut down. . . and finishing up about the time they're ready to start the party.

This is all guessing though - this is our first MNSSHP. We've done a couple Christmas parties but never tried eating at the park before. We'll see how it goes.

Just curious. If 'non' party attenders select an ADR at CP or LTT (say 5:30), would they be rushed through dinner? I know that we would have to leave the park as soon as we are done, but just wondered if they try and make you leave by 6?

No, I've never seen them rush anyone.

Sorry to take away from the OP here, but does CP do something special during MNSSHP? I know LTT the characters wear masks...do the other restaurants do things as well?

No, only LTT does that.
