What do you suggest, crystal palace for lunch or crystal palace for dinner????? I want to do a character meal there because the kids love pooh and friends, but I am not sure what time to do it.

I haven't been yet but I do have a PS for lunch there this year. Why?? Mostly because it is less expensive for lunch then dinner. So if price isn't a concern for you then I guess it wouldn't matter but if it is then do lunch.

Hey Jen!
Have you been to CP before? I have been quite a bit and it always seems to be a hit or miss deal although I do find character interaction is better during lunch. We were there last Thursday, during the Halloween party for dinner at 5:30pm and there were hardly any patrons and the characters came by 3 times....now in Feb for dinner it was a different story - we had to go find Pooh.
What time of year are you going?

We have had 2 great lunches at CP. It is a great way to take a break from the parks mid-afternoon.

And it is cheaper, plus you can eat a light breakfast & just snak for dinner.

We are doing lunch for the 1st time on an EE day to MK. We don't stay at the parks all day so we figure after lunch we will leave.

I don't know the price different for lunch and dinner.

Have never done dinner, but in September did a late lunch/early dinner (have also done breakfast in the past) and it was AWESOME! We had the characters to ourselves, and because of this they were very entertaining. The food was outstanding (we were very pleasantly surprised). I would imagine the food wouldn't change significantly from lunch to dinner, so I would opt for a late lunch. The desserts here were delicious, especially the little cheesecakes! The buffet offers a great variety of delicious entrees. Enjoy!

Vanessa, we will be there in February.

So, does everyone think 2:00 is a good time for a late lunch?? Or should I do a little earlier or a little later then that?

Lunch would be my vote. The menu is not much different and the price is lower. Interaction with the characters, in our experience, has been terrific. We usually go early and eat hardily. CP is one of my favorite places! :p

We have done both lunch and dinner at CP (my childrens' favorite) and both have been very good. Enjoy, whenever you choose to go!:D

I'd do lunch-which I am in Jan.-because it is a nice mid-day break and good food, better priced than Dinner. Plus, who knows how much steam your family will have left by dinner time!

Enjoy, and say Hi to pooh

We have done all 3 meals at CP. It is one of my families favorites. We try for a late breakfast (brunch) on EE day or a late lunch (linner as my kids call it) on a normal entry day. Lunch and dinner are similar but as one person said it is a lower price at lunch. There are 5 of us so this makes a big difference!

It sounds to me like at lunch they really only have salads and lunch meat...while at dinner they have alot more for only $4.00 more per adult and the same price for kids.
More Carved meats and the shrimp...of course it appears that at lunch you get the sausage and peppers along with the shepards pie...decisions decisions....life should always be this rough!

Can anyone who has gone to both Lunch and Dinner chime in on this?

I think 2:00 or later would be great for lunch. If I'm not mistaken, that's when we went and it was virtually empty!
