We are going to WDW in November. This will be our first ( and possibly only) trip to WDW ( we usually go to DL). I am planning on making ADRs soon ( just found out about the trip- it is through MAW) and I was wondering if we should do Crystal Palace for lunch or dinner.

We are doing dinner at CP. I guess it depends on what other adr's you have planned for that day. We will usually do cs for lunch if we do a buffet at night. We usually won't do 2 buffets in one day.

I am only doing one ADR per day. I figured if we ate something big for one meal ( like a buffet) we would just eat a snack or something the other meal. We will have breakfast at GKTW before we leave each morning.

Are there more selections at dinner time? I am leaning towards dinner because I think I read that they have prime rib at dinner and we all love prime rib.

We really enjoy the lunch at CP. It is a great little break in the day. We have had some great Pork loin at CP & the salad dressings are so good.

Dinner has always been good there. You will be happy with either one though.

They do have prime rib. (I always hesitate to make such declarations since the menus change often.) The pork adobo and salmon are also pretty good. There is a pretty extensive range of veggies and salads. I really like the spoonbread.

We have always done breakfast at CP. But DH chaperoned the senior class trip to WDW this past year and they had scheduled lunch for the group there. He said it was great...a nice change from our normal routine. From what I've heard the food is decent at any time of day... it really depends on your park plan for the day. We generally find it easier to to planned dinners... inevitably we have a huge brekafast and then aren't really up for a big lunch. So we snack and then have dinner. It really just depends on the needs of the group.

Thank you everybody- we decided to go with dinner. My kids can usually go, go, go for quite awhile and then are ready to take a break for an eary dinner.

Breakfast, 8:05 ADR, you get into park early, have Main Street to yourself. Finish up around 9ish and are ahead of the crowd all morning.

We have only tried dinner and we love it.

As for this being your last trip, I am not so sure. Once you have been to WDW I don't see how you can not go back.
