Crystal Palace Late Lunch

Hubby works in the morning on Eric Daniel's second birthday. He insists we celebrate on his birthday so we got late lunch ressies for Crystal Palace. Is this a big mistake? Will the food just be siting and stale? Is it empty or full in there around 2:30 on a Sunday? Should we skip and go somewhere else? Should we wait and go on his day off?

I prefer the late lunch. It will fill you up for the evening, and get you out into the park in the late afternoon when the crowds may be a bit thinner.

The quality of the food has never been an issue for me at that time.

a number of late buffets over the years. In fact the last CM breakfast I had the latest seating available and they don't serve lunch. In all cases the food was being replenished/replaced frequently. With a late lunch ADR at CP they will eventually start to turn the buffet over for dinner. Many of the items are the same but there are few additional ones.
