Crystal Palace late lunch at almost Dinner time

I was thinking about making ADR's for Crystal Palace but it seems that lunch ends at 3pm. If I made a 2:30pm or 3 pm ADR what happens? Does the restaurant close down before dinner at 4pm or will I be allowed to stay? Or will I have only a few minutes to eat?

No, they don't close. You will have plenty of time to eat and see the characters. We have found that late lunch/early dinner is a great time to eat there. We like to make our adr for right after the parade.

We went one time at 2:45 and it was the BEST! We had more time with the characters, b/c the restaurant emptied out. They had also started putting out dinner food, which we got for the lunch price. We have some of our best pics from that meal!

It was mostly the same, but there were a few more choices (it seemed) once the dinner stuff started being put out. It was also a few years ago, so I can't remember details. But, that was our dinner, and the kids only needed a snack later, so it was nice to be able to spend the evening touring instead of fighting the crowds at the restaurants.
