Crystal Palace late breakfast

Hey everyone. We have a 10:30 reservation for Crystal Palace in August, and I was wondering if:

1) They're going to take out the breakfast food while we're eating there to start putting the lunch food?

2) Are they going to rush us with the characters meetings? Considering they might leave to take a break before lunch starts? Or they will be there all the time?

1. Your first plate will be breakfast. Replenishment may start to include lunch.

2. No. Most costume character meals actually have multiple sets of the characters to allow for rotation, actually. There are rules about how long any given set of characters can be on stage.

We've eaten at CP with a late breakfast reservation on 2 separate trips; both of those reservations were around 10:40 am. The lunch food did not start to appear until about 11:15 am or just a bit later so we felt we had plenty of time to eat the breakfast offerings. Our server encouraged us to take our time in case we wanted to try the lunch options but we were too full and wanted to get back to the park.

We were some of the last breakfast people in the restaurant due to this late reservation and the characters spent plenty of time with us, not rushed at all.

Crystal palace is by far our favorite Character meal at WDW and we have eaten breakfast there during every trip over the last 18 years. As I remember, the latest breakfast time is 10:45 (used to be 10:55). We have always tried to book the latest breakfast time and treat the meal as lunch. They never hurried us and they never brought out lunch dishes while we were there as far as I can remember.
