My husband and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon, and me being the non-ride person didn't want to go. I wanted beach and sand and doing nothing after spending a year planning our wedding. So he won the rock, paper, scissors for where to go on our honeymoon. We had the best time! I even went on rides.

But the best time we had was at the Crystal Palace. We always manage at least one buffet during a trip and we decided at the last minute to see if we could get reservations. So that morning I called the Dining Reservations line from our room and they had an opening. I just happened to mention that it was our Honeymoon and the woman on the phone was really excited about that.

When we got to the restaurant we were both starving after spending the day walking around the park. We got to our table and there was a little confetti heart on the table. That was the cutest thing I have ever seen (I ended up putting the confetti in an envelope and brought it home as a reminder). Then we got a wonderful certificate and the best meal that we have ever had.

The food was outstanding. The time that we arrived for our meal was just at the end of lunch and the beginning of dinner so we got a bit of everything. Food was amazing (the corn bread the best we have ever had) and the service was really good too.

If you can get a reservation for the Crystal Palace, do it, even if you call up that morning just to see if anyone has cancelled. It is worth it!

Congratulations on your marriage!

The confetti sounds adorable! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. :)

We love Crystal Palace. My favorite character of all time (see my avatar) is there, and I need to see him at least once a trip.

Thanks for your review and much congratulations on your recent marriage!

I've never eaten at Crystal Palace, but after looking at the menu, I switched our reservation from LTT to the CP for dinner. The food choices were more to my liking! I'm very excited now--but sadly, its the last dinner of our trip, so once we go there, we know we have to leave the next day.

Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations on your marriage. And thank you for posting about Crystal Palace. We have breakfast here every year. I too received the confetti last year for my 50th birthday. I collected it all and put it in a baggie and then passed it out to little kids while waiting in lines for attractions and told them it was pixie dust!
