Ok, so Ive had my ADR's booked for a while, However we added a night to our res about a week ago,(trip is next week) and for the extra night of free dining I booked Spoodles 5p.m for our TS.
Well It dawned on me (a little to late) That I really should have booked more character meals for the kids, and now theres practically nothing available. First choice would be 1900 park fare. Ive called everyday and no cancellations so far. The only character meal I can find is a 2:40 pm lunch at Crystal palace. I have DD4 and DS1. My thing is I have my FIL, MIL and SIL are dining too, and I want to go somewhere where the food is good.
Any feedback for those of you who have had a lunch there?

This is a absolute favorite, must-do place for me on every trip!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Actually, I'll be going twice on my upcoming trip (once for dinner and the other for the first time for breakfast!). Have always had great food and service here at each visit. There is a great selection and there is something for everyone! When my nephews were younger, my sister used to play the Sing-Along tapes (now on dvd). These were great because it got my nephews used to what the characters will actually look like at the parks & restaurants, so they were not afraid of them. pooh: :tigger: :eeyore:

:thumbsup2 Another thumbs up, we love to have lunch here, it is one of our favorite buffets in all of WDW! And my dd can take or leave the Pooh gang but she does enjoy the character interaction...so if your kids like Pooh, this will be a great one!

You're not missing much at Park Fare's dinner. Breakfast is pretty good but I think dinner is VERY over rated. CP's food is MUCH better! The food at CP is excellent and of a nice variety. You will enjoy this, plus it's a nice hour break from the park. ENJOY!! :goodvibes

Try to see if you can get into Garden Grille at Epcot for lunch or dinner. This is a good meal with great character interaction and it's served "family style" so you don't have to get up to get your food. I just added it to our ADR's for next week so you may still be able to get in there for your trip.

I truthfully love this place! I can't count the number of times I have eaten there and 95% of the time it is for lunch! The menu is very diverse and you will get plenty to keep you hungry through the rest of the day ;)

The characters there have always been wonderful, and the kids love it when they get to parade around the room with them.

I seem to go every other trip at least, and we booked again for our last day in Nov :)

Lunch at CP is an excellent choice! There's chicken, salmon, flank steak, mac & cheese, salads, fresh fruit, deli meats and so much more. I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again.

We had a 2:10 ADR and finished in the nick of time to see the Share a Dream Come True Parade (now Dreams Come True). You may not all be done dining, but if seated near a window you will see it head down Main Street in front of the castle.

We have had breakfast lunch and dinner there. All were great. No complaints here!

I've never been to CP for lunch. Does anyone know if there is a good selection for vegetarians? Thanks!!
