Crystal Palace for dinner?

I'm having major dining dilemmas for the night of Sunday 12/4...I need an early dinner before I surprise my family with our split stay at the Poly. We had a late 'Ohana but I was able to switch that to 12/5, which fits our schedule better. I'd prefer something early (before 6:30) we've hit a roadblock since everyone wants an early dinner in the MK area the night of a MVMCP Anyway...I was able to get into Crystal Palace at 3:50, which works fine since we'll be in the MK, but I've only heard about their breakfast. How is the dinner? If my available dinner choices were Crystal Palace, Concourse Steakhouse, Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona Cafe, which would you choose? We have a 2 year old, a 4 year old, my mom and my picky eater husband Also, we will be on the dining plan...

I vote for Kona Cafe. It's wonderful. I had the crab cake appetizer and the filet mignon and both were outstanding. The kids meals are great and desserts for everyone are great. You can see them on display in the back of the restaurant.

It's relatively easy to get a PS there - but not while you're there (I found out the hard way last week) and it's right in the Poly.

Out of the restaurants you listed I just went to the Crystal Palace. My children, 2.5 and 15 mths, absolutely loved it. Aside from the wonderful fun of the characters and little parades, there was so much food and dessert to choose from.

For the kids they did have the chicken nuggets. They had pasta, salad, rolls, a choice of meats including turkey and ham, green beans, potatoes, just a wide variety. For dessert, there was so much, too. The kids could make sundaes, or you could have chocolate chip cookies, apple cobbler, tiramisu, brownies, and several cakes to choose from.

It wasn't gourmet, but it had a lot to choose from, and enough choice for pickier eaters, including young children.

We ate at the crystal palace for an evening meal and the food was really good.
