I tried to do a search but I keep coming up with server too busy and your request cannot be processed at this time crap.

So far I have decided on:

Le Cellier (dinner)
Coral Reef (dinner)
Garden Grill (dinner)

I'm looking at the Crystal Palace but was thinking about doing that for breakfast instead of a dinner ADR. Which is better? Also, is it worth it to use up a ts credit for each of us to dine here? I noticed the price was a little lower than the cost of the dining plan per day.

I need to make my ADRs tomorrow as we are going in October which is coming soon!!!

My family has always enjoyed breakfast at CP. We like to get an early reservation (8 - 815) so we can walk down Mainstreet before park opening. The food is good and character interaction is a lot of fun.

:goodvibes :goodvibes

Haven't tried dinner, but we love breakfast. :)

Always wnted to try CP for breakfast because everyone says it's great, but DH isn't a big breakfast eater. We had dinner there last May and it was very good. We are vegetarians and we were really impressed by the variety of dishes. My parents (carnivors) were with us and they found lots of good stuff too. It seems like you can't go wrong either way so I'd decide based on what you think you might want to do with the rest of that day.

Green Goblin, you say carnivors like it is a bad thing!

I am a big time breakfast eater, so I lean toward breakfast myself! Dinner was good there, though. The character interaction is the same, so I think it depends on if you like a big breakfast or not.

Breakfast is very good. We always eat the latest breakfast possible (brunch) 11:00 am, which allows us to skip lunch. We eat an early snack at the hotel (granolla bar) to tide us over. Have never eaten there for dinner. I've heard it's also good.

We went to CP because my girl likes Pooh. Thats it, not for the food , but it was great!! We went for dinner, and the food was fantastic. :thumbsup2

We do breakfast every year. We usually schedule it prior to park opening. That way, when we walk up Main Street, it is virtually empty. It's like having the park to yourselves for just a little while.

We usually don't eat big breakfasts, but CP is wonderful! We were there last month for one of the first seatings, and everything was sooooo good. The wait staff, character interaction, restaurant location and setting, etc was A++. I highly recommend it!

So do we. My mom and I are breakfast eaters and Crystal Palace has wonderful character interaction and the food is wonderful! Can hardly wait to go in August!

I've only done CP for dinner (just this last trip) and it was FABULOUS food! I would definitely go back for dinner!

I've done both dinner and breakfast here. Both were fabulous (except the shrimp on the dinner buffet...or it was the cream sauce on the pasta...both came back to haunt me later that night). It's a toss-up for me because I REALLY loved the breakfast (and the breakfast lasagna!! even got the recipe and made it at home!! BTW, it is definitely not diet food, but sooooo worth the splurge!!!), but if you're trying to do the rides and attractions, especially fantasyland (dumbo), it is really important to focus on the rides at park opening because the line-ups start. We didn't and we basically had to completely skip fantasyland rides 2 trips ago.

I like the idea someone above had about getting the latest possible seating for breakfast and making it your brunch. But then again, having an early seating before the park is officially open is really great for the walk up a deserted main street in the morning sun...sigh!!

I think I found dinner to be a little hectic, breakfast not so much so, especially if you can get one of the first seatings...so I guess my final answer would be go for breakfast.

Clear as mud right?

You mentioned the price being lower than the dining plan cost for the day. Don't forget that the dining plan also includes a CS and snack each day, so the cost may not impact your decision as much as you thought.

In addition that the advertised cost doesn't include the tax and tip either. We ate at CP for dinner in May (my mother and I) and it was I believe about $65 after tax and tip. The dining plan cost us $76 each day (for both of us), but we also had a $28 lunch at Flame Tree that day, plus $6 in snacks. So we definitely got our money's worth! ;)
