Now that Magic Kingdom has extended their hours in October, will some earlier Crystal Palace ADR's come available? I had an 8:15 when they were opening at 9:00 but now that they are opening at 8:00, I would like maybe a 7:30 or so.

Also, if I end up keeping my 8:15 am I going to run into crowd issues with the park opening about the same time?

First time I've tried for a pre-park opening breakfast. Should have know it wouldn't work out.

Thanks for the help!

Maybe schedule a late breakfast/brunch instead? Go to 8am rope drop, do the rides, then have breakfast around 10:30am? That'll be a nice "brunch" for you guys. Plus you can get a lot done in those 2 1/2 hours.

Does anyone have experience with a 8:15 ADR & an 8:00 park opening? Do the crowds of people trying to get into the park make it difficult to get to your reservation in time? Trying to decide if I should cancel it & go with The Wave instead since we are staying at Bay Lake.

It won't be a big deal. You'll make it.

You'll make it just fine but it would bug me to be sitting in CP for an hour (or more) while the crowds in the park build the whole time, unless you have multiple MK days and are fine with it. :-) I like the late breakfast idea and RD the park, that's probably what we would do if in a similar situation.

We'll be in the Magic Kingdom several days so I'm not worried about the park time. My concern with the later ADR is that DS4 would never make it until then without eating. I would still have to feed him before we went into the park & then he wouldn't want to eat come "brunch" time.

I have the same issue. To be honest, eating breakfast with Pooh is important to me (Pooh and I go WAY back, and there has been a restaurant at Crystal Palace since my earliest visits in the 1970s), and my daughter is the very definition of "I'm sorry for what I said when I was hungry."

I think I'm keeping the early breakfast, and relying on both my (hopefully) solid plan for the day, and the knowledge that my kids aren't park warriors. We're planning Adventureland, Frontierland, and a train ride to Fantasyland for a few FP+, then back to our resort for pool fun anyway. We have 2 days + a party night at MK. I don't feel like OMG that first hour!!! will make or break things, whereas my daughter being a heinous human while hungry is not a good time.

Exactly my thoughts!

I'm leaning towards keeping it too. We're only doing Fantasyland this day anyway. Then taking the train back to Main Street for the afternoon parade and then heading back to the room. I've got Fastpasses for everything we really want to do so losing an hour won't be the end of the world. We also have 2 park days + 1 party night and I've got a "free" day build in for anything we may have missed.

Crystal Palace will be a first for us & I really hate to give up trying it out.

This is exactly what we decided to do. Originally I wanted a PPO breakfast. Because of when I'm going that's not likely to happen due to extended hours. I decided to use Crystal Palace like a brunch instead. That actually saves me the $$ of paying for two meals because I can have everyone eat a light breakfast at the condo/room and skip lunch! But if you can't move the ADR later or it will interfere with your FPs I would keep it too. This is one meal that everyone in my family will actually look forward to. There are always a few things that you have to compromise on for a must do and this sounds like it is yours!

Generally, they will not open earlier than 8 save at Christmas. I do not expect any PPO ADRs to exist on 8AM open days.

Other than at Christmas/New Year's they haven't opened the restaurants earlier than 8:00 AM.

Easter week 2015 they opened MK TS restaurants (at least CP and CRT) at 7:00am after park opening was changed to 8:00. I don't think they repeated this in 2016, and I'm not saying there's a chance of 7:00am ADRs in MK this October - but it has happened outside of Christmas at least once.

Basically, "high volume holidays," really.
