Crystal Palace during Wishes?

Has anyone ever been to Crystal Palace during Wishes? My friend has made dinner reservations for our group at Crystal Palace on the final night of our trip. Our reservations are for 7:30, and from what I understand Wishes begins at 8:00 that night. Will we be able to see Wishes from the restaurant?

I don't believe you can get much of a view, if any, from inside the restaurant.

We have been at CRT during Wishes. They dim the lights and play the wishes music inside. You can see the fireworks somewhat through the windows, but it is not a great view. We thought it was really cool, but we had also seen Wishes via the normal way earlier in our trip.

You CAN see some of the fireworks from window seats at CRT...I am just not sure how much, if any, you can see from Crystal Palace. It's not at a good angle unless you're standing out front.

Crystal Palace is my favorite place. But you CANNOT see the fireworks.

Sure if you are by a window (very few window seats by the way) you MAY see 1 or 2 of 10 fireworks. But there are so many trees between you and the Castle....you won't enjoy the show. You will truely feel like you missed out.

Trust me. If you want to see Wishes, don't try it from inside the restaurant.

What if you go outside on the balcony/porch area where you can see the castle at an angle? I remember there are a few trees there, but remember being able to see the castle pretty well from there...wonder if I can just pop outside for the end of the fireworks?

With this being a buffet, I highly doubt they would let you do that.
And again Crystal Palace has so many trees around it, it is very hard to even see the fireworks from the patio/waiting area.

We were there last month & saw the fireworks from the porch. The waitress recommended it as we were seated. She said they would not clean off table or anything while we were watching. We had no trouble doing this at all, watched fireworks and then went back the table & finished our meal! Have fun!!

Thanks! We were thinking of cancelling the reservation, but if they let you go outside to watch then come back in then we'll probably keep it.

How long approx. would you say it takes to finish your meal there once you're seated?
