I'm bummed

I like to do CP for an early breakfast before the park opens...oh well. I booked CRT instead.

According to AllEars, the Crystal Palace will be closed until Feb. 13.

when I called to book the reservation there...MS said it would be closed Jan to 15th..we love going to the MK before opening so we will suck up the cost adn do CRT instead.

Liberty Tree Tavern- Starting 1/3/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will be a character dining location for breakfast, lunch, dinner. All meals will be served in an all you care to enjoy family style setting.
On 2/15/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will resume normal operations as a non character location serving lunch and dinner. This is being done while Crystal Palace is closed for a rehab.

I might have missed this, but what characters are going to be at LTT? Will it be Pooh characters or the characters who used to be at LTT? We have a lunch ressie there in Jan, and I was just wondering. Thanks!

I called to book breakfast at LTT and they said it will be Chip and Dale, Minnie and Pluto..just like it used to be for dinner there. You can't book breakfast yet however because they dont have the times in their system for breakfast yet. They also don't know how much it will cost.

That is exactly the opposite info I received from dining when I booked LLT for lunch in January. They said no characters, and the standard lunch standard menu.

So, I just called back, and sure enough, it was changed to a character meal. Interesting that they didn't call to let those with existing reservations know of the change.

I was arranging some grand gathering stuff today and was also told that Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale would be at LTT for breakfasts, lunch, and dinner.

I am so sad about CP. My daughter will be turning 1 on her trip and her entire room is decorated in Pooh so I wanted to take her there for her birthday breakfast. Oh well, we'll have to just catch them at 1900 or at Epcot.

a couple of other places you should be able to see Pooh characters. In the MK there is Pooh's Playful Spot. I usually see Pooh and Tigger when I walk by. The England pavilion in Epcot has Pooh characters often during the day. The character area in front of the Great Movie Ride in DHS usually has some Pooh characters. Finally there are some Pooh characters at the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. I haven't been there so I cannot vouch for the meal.
