Crystal Palace - breakfast or lunch?

Just wondering if anyone has a preference

We prefer doing the character lunch not so much for the food but for how it works for us in touring MK. We make reservations on an early entry day for 1-2 p.m. Kids hit all the "must do rides" and we are ready to take a break by then. After lunch we head back to the hotel for pool/rest break. I am partial to Pooh characters(obviously!) so Crystal Palace is one of my favorite character restaurants..........

We also prefer lunch. We ride the must-do rides in the morning, eat lunch, and then watch the parade. When eating lunch, we eat a small breakfast at the hotel and a light dinner in the parks. We just prefer it this way- if we ate breakfast, we'd be really hungry by dinner.
Either one will be great I'm sure- we love Crystal Palace and our Pooh friends!!!

Besides the Crystal Palace,is there any other place for character dining with the POOH characters?

We've done both twice!!!! I prefer the breakfast. Here's why: Even if you have the earliest lunch, it is still very loud and chaotic.

When we have done breakfast, we always get a PS for 8am (on non-ee day). Imagine this: You walk up an EMPTY Main Street, first thing in the morning. You arrive at CP-it's quiet and the morning light is just streaming through the windows. The buffet is scrumptious (and cheaper than lunch), every one is mellow (since it's still early) and the waiters and characters are "fresh". You are done with breakfast well before the park opens and you saunter over to rope drop. The first time we were on the first Dumbo ride and the second time my niece and I were the "first riders" on Space Mountain-just like I promised. She even got a certificate. After this, you won't want lunch until around 2pm!

Eeyore and Pooh also appear at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Piglet and Tigger only appear at Crystal Palace. We've gone to the Crystal Palace for the Character meals and really enjoyed it. It's only my DH and myself but the characters stopped at our table for pictures and a little "high five" the same length of time they stopped at tables with children. You won't be disappointed.

This might be subject to change but as of right now, according to All Ears Net web site, this is the List of Characters and where they're appearing

We haven't done the breakfast but absolutely loved the lunch. Our kids aren't much breakfast eaters anyway. Plus, as others have posted, we like being able to do a bunch of the attractions and then sit down and have lunch. It worked out great for us. Yummy food.
